4 month post-op update: encouragement for all the new guys

I am four months post-op successful implant surgery this week. I wanted to give an update to provide encouragement for all the new guys on here who are due for surgery soon, or who are wondering whether the implant is for them. This is a completely unsolicited post, only because I gained so much sup...

Re: Unable to ejaculate

Gary, I had the same problem you are having at right about the same time post-op. Hang in there. Be patient, ask your wife to work through it with you. Based on my experience, things will gradually get better and you will regain sensation and ejaculation as normal. The nerves around the implant inci...

Re: New member of the club as of 3.5.13

I'm with you Rich. I've been in that dark place myself many times over a 10-year period, on and off. It is hell. But now, after the implant, wow, a huge burden has lifted, hope has returned, that nagging despair and anxiety is gone, and life just seems to be so much better. Thanks for your comments.

Re: New member of the club as of 3.5.13

Just an update for the guys on here who have taken time to reply to me and my various posts over the last 2-8 months. I have not been on in a while as I've been busy and just learning the ropes of my new implant device. At 9 weeks post-op, I am feeling very much like my life is back to normal, in al...

Re: YEEHAW!! Have Approval and a March 7th Date

That is great news! I wanted to update you and all the guys, here, that I am experiencing similar results at almost exactly the same 9-week post-op point as you (March 5 implant date). At first, I had to get the hang of things and did not climax during intercourse the first couple of times after fir...

Re: Regretting implant. Unsure how to cope.

Thanks for all the encouragement, guys. Much, MUCH appreciation. I spoke with my doc today and he has confirmed everything you guys say. He says just keep trying, be patient, and that the nerves around the penis take as much as 6 months to a year to heal and get full sensation to return. He said don...

Regretting implant. Unsure how to cope.

Some of you may recall my posting back in March following my implant surgery at the first of the month. I am now 6 weeks post-op, and here is my update. I need help and direction. I have healed up very well, minimal pain and swelling, and have been inflating and deflating the device on doctors order...

1st inflation not until 6 weeks post-op. Thoughts?

I am now exactly 3 weeks post-op from Dr. Montague (Cleveland Clinic). Healing went so well I can hardly believe it. I am now back to a basic normal routine including cardivascular exercise, stretching, light-to-moderate jogging and lifting. The last of the stitches absorbed and disappeared just yes...

Re: Motorcycles

Hey, inthezone. One of my bikes is a Suzuki DR650 single cylinder thumper like your KLR. Before my surgery (two weeks ago), I bought an Airhawk cushion for it for when riding longer distances. I don't intend to get rid of this bike, and may not use the Airhawk cushion for shorter rides. I have not b...

Re: 1st deflation: more pain than I anticipated

Thanks for the replies, guys. It sure helps to know others have experienced what I am going through. I have a really positive outlook on the whole thing, and feel I have had such a good healing and recovery experience these first two weeks. I guess I just like to know what to anticipate. I was able ...
