Re: Swelling from the implant

My doc told me to use ice and to also roll up a hand towel and put it under my scrotum to keep it elevated. Gravity does wonders to help fluid from accumulating down there. It really helped as long as I was flat on my back or sitting in the recliner all the way back. Good thing is the soreness start...

Re: How many still use VED after implant?

Hi bluis6214 Thank you for the pic. What length were you before the implant? Hi Danny, Well its kinda of a long story about size. Before my injury I had healthy 8"x6" erections, that was back in 2002. After 10 years of nothingness my doc could just stretch it out to 5". No erections ...

Re: How many still use VED after implant?

Hey. Did you have much swelling after implant? How long before swelling started going down? I had some swelling for about a week. Sore and really tender in the scrotum for about two weeks. Ice works well for the swelling and warm compress for the tenderness. Try 2lbs. Dry rice in a tube sock warmed...

Re: How many still use VED after implant?

What has increased has been my length when I first started inflating I was at 5.5" and am currently at 6.5" I figure that I am close to max as doc tells me he used 21cm cylinder length. That 21cm cylinder length must be before expansion, right? Doesn't about 7 cm of the cylinder go inside...

Re: IPP done; only one side placed.

I'm curious as to how you get a penile fracture? ouch!! That's what I thought even when the doctors told me that was what I had... It happened during intercourse. My wife was on top and it slipped out and when she thrust downward again it just folded over and popped. The pain was excruciating.. I w...

Re: How many still use VED after implant?

I had thought about using my VED to increase girth, but have decided not to, because I would much rather go with what I have than risk damaging my implant. I have the AMS LGX 700 and my girth measures 5.5". That has been fairly consistent since I started inflating. What has increased has been m...

Re: IPP done; only one side placed.

Due to scaring only one tube would go in. Doc says it will still work just fine. Has anyone else had or heard of this? Comments appreciated. Yes, Steve I've not only heard of it, but actually gave my doc the ok to do it, if he couldn't get a cylinder into the right side. I have quite a bit of scarr...

OMG I am more worried and nervous about the damn catheter than I am the surgery! Am hoping the pain meds will still be working when catheter removal is done the next morning. Glad to hear the first two days were easy for you. Keep us posted on your recovery! Jim There really is a trick to pulling t...

Re: Five weeks post implant

Hey Bowdre, Congratulations on your implant... I'm 12 weeks out and still get a little discomfort when I inflate completely, but I do it twice a day as instructed. I have most discomfort on the right side of mine. Where I know I have a great deal if scar tissues to break up. I inflate to just a litt...
