Re: In Quest for an Impant... It's happening!

I stayed at the Holiday 2 blocks from UMMC. Dr. Kramer recommended a different hospital but it was pricey. I went for cheap and close. I visited the hotel he recommended while there and have talked to a couple guys that stayed there. I learned he certainly knows which ones are nicest from visiting h...

Re: Inplant hype

There is a new procedure that uses nerves in your legs to produce a hard on, if your problem is nerve damage. The procedure is being done in Australia. Sounds promising for guys like me that had all my erection nerves removed during RARP. Nothing beats a blood filled hard on. Sural (sp) nerve graft...

Re: Thanks Guys

He also stated that the doctor does 2-3 implants a month & only does AMS Ambicor 2 piece implant. For sure I'm not having this doctor do an implant on me.

Sounds like Bullock in St. Louis. He said that was the only type implant he will install. Medieval medicine.

Re: A Few Fundamental Questions About Implants

1) once you have an implant you can never go back to having a natural erection with or without it. 2) It feels natural after it gets broken in. My LGX had a natural feel flaccid but still a rubbery feel. My Titan crinkled like a potato chip bag when flacid till is was months old but now it is soft a...

Re: My experience.

At 51 you are young. Your natural erections have now been ruined forever. Bad luck? Doctor just started a new crack habit? Students doing the work? Pappas has a good reputation? How was that determined? Reputation is shot to hell now, isn't it? I agree with Max of the 5 x's . No way I would have gon...

Re: Cant get implanted

there was one member here who could not get implanted due to damage from radiation therapy. His doctor tried but had to abandon the procedure. He did vacuum pump therapy for a period of time and then had a successful implant later. There ARE urologists that specialize in penile reconstruction in wor...

Re: Anal play after prostatectomy.

You are only the second person I've heard that had a perineal prostatectomy. I asked a gay friend about that one time and he told me the prostate is the pleasure zone but in time, you can train your rectum to similarly be erogenous with dildos. That is what he said. You can train it.

Re: Kramer can't work with my insurance. Should I wait for Kramer or "settle" for Karpman?

UMMR was not taking my insurance the first couple times I contacted his office either. Eventually they did. I am sure if Dr. Kramer says they are working on it, somebody is. Insurance companies negotiate prices and contract. Doctors do too. Dr. Kramer has a lot of experience in the financial aspect ...
