Re: Pain day 7

Each of us is different and the surgeries are a little different. I took only one of the opioid pills and then switched to ibuprofen. No real trouble. There was pain, but as long as I stayed naked and kept the swelling down, it wasn't bad. It hurt to touch more, or to have pressure on the area. Once...

Re: Men who had drainage tubes put in

Had a drainage tube overnight, was taken out before I left the hospital. No complications or trouble. The tube came out through a separate hole in my abdomen, a little to the left of the surgery cut (infrapubic). The doctor put surgical glue on both openings and it held until after it had healed. Ca...

Re: Did you tell your kids about Implant?

I told my sons, just like I told them about the prostate cancer. I also told my son in law. It has been my opinion that they should know to check annually for PSA, and I also felt they should know that ED can be common in men and there are things you can do about it. It's my hope that if they have t...

Re: Guys with lgx 18cm and RTE 3cm

That's exactly what I got almost 3 years ago. After surgery, I was not at 5 inches. After a year of cycling, I was over 5 and 3/4. All of us are different, though. It depends on internal anatomy as well as external. YMMV.

Re: Surgery Friday

Congratulations, guys. The worst is over. Be patient now, and everything will work out. For ice, I had 3 ice bags. I'd put one on either side of my junk, and then, with my penis pointed up, one on top. Be careful not to freeze something, you probably shouldn't have the ice on all the time. If you're...

Re: 1st time implant.

The hard part of the place you're at now is patience. You'll need it again and again. Right now, you sack is swollen, full of excess fluids, and very tender. All of this will ease with time. I also have a fairly small ballsack. I even asked the doctors I interviewed if it was big enough to tolerate ...

Re: Libido increase after implant

For me, libido definitely improved. I'd had ED for a very long time. Once I could get erect again without trouble, I found I was aroused a lot more easily and often. With an implant, my doctor had me inflating it often to help with growth and healing correctly. Every time I get erect, I tend to get ...

For those over 1 year with implant: How often do you inflate? Just for use or more often?

My doctor gave me solid input regarding cycling (inflating) for the first 6 months to a year, especially if I wanted to see some growth. He told me to inflate 4 times a day, for a half hour each. I did that for about 6 months, but only sporadically after that. I still try to cycle it up several time...
