Congratulations Brad - like everyone else says, give it time. I had similar pain to start but it soon goes.

I have had the AMS LGX700 for the last 2 years.

I still get the occasional self-inflation and it can affect how I inflate.

If you cannot get "the pop" try using the deflate button first, squeeze the shaft to make sure you are fully deflated - then inflate as normal.

Works for me.

Hit and hold the deflate button and squeeze the shaft.

The couple of times mine did that I found I had not deflated completely.

Mine does exactly the same - I squeeze the pump until it is hard, leave it for a while and am able to get a couple more squeezes in, massage the shaft and I get a few more.
