I have had the AMS LGX700 for the last 2 years.
I still get the occasional self-inflation and it can affect how I inflate.
If you cannot get "the pop" try using the deflate button first, squeeze the shaft to make sure you are fully deflated - then inflate as normal.
Works for me.

Make sure your are deflated fully and the warmer you are the easier it is.

Hit and hold the deflate button and squeeze the shaft.
The couple of times mine did that I found I had not deflated completely.

Silent when I inflate, buzzes for about 7 seconds when I deflate.

Mine does exactly the same - I squeeze the pump until it is hard, leave it for a while and am able to get a couple more squeezes in, massage the shaft and I get a few more. If I am warm or inflate in the bath I get a bit more inflation. I'm no technical expert but everything seems to relax and becom...
