I have been looking on the forum for quite a while and am grateful for being allowed to join. I have found many of the comments made very helpful.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2014 and in that year I underwent a radical prostatectomy to remove prostate. Whilst it looks like the op was successful it has left me with permanent ED. Sex has always been an important part of my life so to be plagued with ED has been very difficult to come to terms with.

3 years on, I have to be realistic that as things are now is probably how things are going to stay for the rest of my life.

However, trying to be positive and with the support of my wife I have managed to salvage a sex life. Currently working with asprotadil injections. Don't always work but sometimes do. Hard erection obviously best but fun still possible with less than than 100%. My sexual urge returned quite quickly and so I still have a man's needs. Things not same as before but my wife makes sure my needs are met.

This post was meant to be my introduction and to say hello. I will post again in due course. I still get quite down and appreciate the moral support offered by a forum such as this. However, if I can offer similar help to others I will do my best.

Best wishes to all.

Your situation is the same as mine. I was on quadmix before but got implanted last February. Welcome and I would be glad to answer any questions.

Welcome. You are definitely in the right place to feel camaraderie and support.

Welcome.
I hope you find Frank Talk and the guys on here to be as helpful as I have. The sharing and caring are like nothing else, anywhere. We've all found ourselves in this shitty world of ED. And we've all found this wonderful resource where men can ask other men anything, and where men can and do share their most personal concerns, worries, frustrations, experiences and suggestions. You are not alone in you journey.

Good morning Naples;
One thing I love about this site is that LOTS of the members started injecting, taking Viagra or Cialis, got implanted or are using the pellets, and even after they found success they continued to be active members of Frank Talk. Some of the members have been on here since the beginning. Their knowledge is invaluable. I can honestly say that these men know more than the doctors... here's why I say that. The doctor MAY teach you how to inject but does he inject? Probably not. Lot of doctors tell their patients about pain, etc. but do they have an implant? Probably not. The guys on here not only have been there, but they HAVE done that, and no amount of university training can compare to that. What the do have, as you have recently read on here, is a medical license that allows THEM to give medical advice. The way we get around that is to tell a member, with a question, what they do, how much drug they use, how many pumps they do, etc., you get the idea. These men are my brothers now and I think I can safely say on behalf of all or most men on here, being able to have open discussion with people who are experiencing the same shit I am is very comforting. I can come right out and ask a question, I don't have to worry how I word it so as not to offend the ladies present, etc. Good luck December 11, I go on the 14th and CAN'T WAIT. :)
