Postby sharpspike » Sun Nov 23, 2014 12:44 pm

Dr Jonas Benson at uropartners in Wheaton illinois did a fine job installing the titan for me.
No problems and it works well.
Implanted with colorplast Titan 3 years ago. Davinci radical prostatectomy 6 months ago. Very happy with the outcome of both procedures.

good morning gentlemen!

i am located in Spartanburg SC. My procedure was performed at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center by Dr Michael Pryor of the Urology Center of Spartanburg. I suppose he is what you would call a low volume provider, as i believe he performs less than 50 this year. I am 16 weeks post op, scheduled to see Dr Pryor again on Dec 10th. As i write this i am pleased with his procedure. I experienced (still ongoing) a very easy recovery, have no real issues or problems and my implant is functioning as advertised. I am not sure if my implant could have been a bit longer as the tips seem to be just short of the rim of my glans, but when fully inflated i don't think it is more than a quarter inch off. Not sure what constitutes a "good fit" but i am satisfied.
I must add that my situation was a difficult one due to peyronies and scarring from injections. Prior to my surgery i had a long gradual curve in my shaft, and the surgery did not correct this, but that is a matter of little concern to me.
All in all, i am pleased with Dr Pryor and the excellent care i received at Spartanburg Regional!

Prostatectomy in 2007..ED ever since..Pills didnt work and injections were effective but caused painful erections.

any suggested doctors for rhode island
age 80. Prostate removed (cancer) 20 years ago. ED resulted. 19+ years did nothing. Tried pills, vacuum pump (HATED IT), injections worked sometimes, but not dependable. Presently have a inflatable, worked the 1st year. Not working for me now.

Perhaps my reply to this thread is premature. I am in Michigan also. Grand Rapids. I am scheduled for surgery Dec. 16. My surgeon will be Dr. Michael Novak of Nurology Surgeons of Grand Rapids. He has been very understanding and has answered all of my questions as the came up.
So, I can let you know after the 16th. how things go.

Dr. Edward Karpman in Mountain View, California is my surgeon and now my urologist. He has implanted several members all of whom are happy with their results (to my knowledge) and like him. Several members who have chosen him as their surgeon are physicians themselves.
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.

My second implant doc was Maurice Garcia out of UC San Francisco Medical. The dude rocks!
Heck, he even called yesterday out of the blue to see how things were going now that it's been a month since activation.
Here is the link to his profile on UCSF's website. http://www.ucsfhealth.org/maurice.garcia He also works out of the local VA hospital.
Message me if you are in the bay area and looking for an implant doc!

Diabetic: used pills & injections.
2 TURP surgeries caused Peyronie's. 1st implant lost to infection, 2nd one is about 5 years old. But "floppy head" due to all the scar tissue, couldn't get tips all the way up.
