If you have a VA disability the VA can do it. Ithink lost sheep had the VA

Try this
https://surgeo.com/penile-implant
Or carecredit

Yes,, the VApicked up thw whole tab and I lucked into a Surgeon who is dedicated to his craft. Active duty at the local military hospital, though giong to a local civilian surgeon or flying to Puget Sound VA Hospital in Seattle were options as well. It I bought the tickets, Dr Kramer was also an option as he works for the VA as well as the University of Maryland . But coordinating the Alaska VA with Maryland VA was problematic. Also 13 hours travel time on airplanes post-op was discouraging.

I have service-connected disability and a good relationship with my primary care doctor and shared a lot of my research with him. Eventually, if I recall correctly, after several years of oral meds losing their effectiveness, it was he who suggested an implant to me. But at this point I am not certain about my memory.

The VA also did my rotator cuffs and appendectomy at ortty much no charge.

Arecyou enrolled in the VA healthcare system?

Lost Sheep,
Great information.

No I am not enrolled in the VA system. I am 58 turning 59, so not retirement age yet, and have no disabilities. Other than ED which I am sure is not considered a disability :)

If I retire early at 62, then I support VA could be a way to go. But I am thinking of doing this sometime in the next 24 months.

It's just about getting enough money.

I have AETNA, so they will pay for about 25% of an out of network doctor, so I will pay about $15k or move if the total is $20k.

Question: For those who stayed at the Bentley, what is the approximate daily rate to stay there?
Is EID able to get you any discount?..

TT,

Probably best to go to the Bentley website for rates and discounts. I think rates may vary by month and days of week. https://bentleyhotelnyc.com/

I asked about discounts and there were none for Dr Eid.

I did upgrade to a corner room on a higher floor for the view. Being in bed for 3 days post-op the view was priceless compared to looking out at a wall. My total for 6 nights + room service + breakfast was about $2k.

WarrenW,

That is about what I was figuring.
And I was figuring about a week.
So that goes along with my estimates.
Thank you.

So I did get almost all the information.
Thank you to all of you who have used Dr. IED, and the private PM's.

I so appreciate Janice at Dr. EID's office, I called yesterday and we spoke at length. She was in no rush to get me off the phone, and was a huge help.

I have contacted AETNA, and I am having my URO send in a request/referral for Dr. EID to do an Implant.

Best case, he is approved, and he accepts whatever they agree to pay for the OP (his cost).
Worst case I pay for Dr. EID as out of network.

But, the good news is that all other costs including the facility, care, etc. are In- Network.
So my estimated cost
out of network (EID) would be $15,000.00
In network (EID) would be $8,000.00

So much better than I originally had planned. Plus travel, etc.
I already have medical expenses this year, which lowers my deductible and cost.
Since I will max out my deductible in either case, any doctor visits I do this year will reduce what I pay above. So I think I will do the surgery this year.
If AETNA and Dr. EID come to resolution and he is in network, then I have to do the surgery within 6 months.
If not, then I am thinking late October.

So there is the plan. I am 80% decided.
Yes, I can get pills to work (CIALIS w/ Viagra) or TriMix (w/CIALIS).
But I can't plan, etc.
I was with a woman a week or so ago, it turned into something very nice, she was doing all sorts of things with her hands, I was fully turned on and in to it, but my dick was just a floppy empty piece of flesh that flapped in the wind (if there was wind).... so Stupid. She was very kind about it.
But I am done with that...

Looking forward to throwing in the trash, all my pills, syringes, trimix, etc.
Just get through recovery, and start a life of manhood...
