Sleeping Erect?

Postby Nocturne » Tue Mar 13, 2018 8:57 am

Back when my dick was awesome, I used to love waking up to a strong erection. Not to use it or anything, just to know it was there and feel healthy and strong.

Do those of you who are implanted ever inflate before going to sleep, not to have sex, but just to feel the erection? Or would that be dangerous somehow?
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

My understanding is that when pumped up for an erection the blood flow into the penis can be impaired to some extent. If you are pumped up to this extent, you could end up with tissue damage which will cause loss of sensation or other issues. I am not a medical professional, just repeating what I have been told.

In addition to pain if you roll over on it, every device has a certain longevity. Leaving it pumped up for absolutely no reason could be taking precious seconds off the clock. :)

But it will help prevent you from rolling out of the bed.

Nocturne,
I do not think it is advisable to sleep a full night with an implant pumped up, but I have a possible solution. I cycle my implant twice a day. Once before I go to sleep for half an hour and the other is as I am waking up. I am one who begins to wake up about half an hour before I am really awake. At that point I pump up an go back to sleep. That way I get to wake up with "morning wood" and that is a great feeling. There are comments about not sleeping with a hardon because it would hurt if you roll over. My natural erections never hurt when I rolled over and my implant doesn't hurt when I roll over. I LOVE being able to get out of bed with my dick leading the way. I have not experienced that in many years. I look at it as a reward for all the crap a guy with ED had to put up with for years.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Thanks, Greg. You get it. I also tend to wake up before I really wake up, so when the time comes, your solution could work for me.

I have slept all night with it pumped up, and I've tried many times, but I always wake up with some pain, then I hit the release valve on the pump. Your body will always wake you up before you hurt yourself too badly. Just like you wake up before you pee on yourself.

Good luck,

I have slept pumped up (not to the max) hundreds of nights. Feels good to touch my woody during the night and when I wake up.... My Titan failure was a tube "coiled" and pulled out, not from sleeping pumped.....

I'm not a doctor but I would think that if there was tubing "coiled up", there was probably too much of it in the first place, which would lead me to ask, if that was screwed up, what else was?? Just my five cents worth (Canada did away with the penny so it can't offer my 2 cents worth anymore) :)

Food for thought :)
