I know that im only 2 days PostOp, but im worried about the tubing and the pump really noticeable at the base of the Penis. Anyone had this resolved without the need for repositioning? it can be corrected by pulling down?

My pump sits low in my scrotum but prior to getting my implant I read where some doctors encourage patients to pull down on the pump at first to get it to sit lower. I would think your doctor would have told you to do it if it was expected.

Talk to your surgeon since everything is so early and some maneuvering could help. The more you wait, the more healing tissue develops, making it impossible to move.

Check with your doctor. I was told to gently pull it down several times a day and now it is in absolutely in the best place. It even stays so my thumb lines up with the release button. :)

Same thing happened to me, the tubing was also to close to the skin. Just had a Revision in Jan and now the pump is all the way to the bottom of the left testicle.

Just curious, is the revision free?

I was told to pull down. Even at five weeks. Evidently I was not being aggressive enough.

I was given the same instructions to pull down on the bulb/value. I did this quite often (a few times a day) early on but did not notice my efforts as having any affect. This supposedly would keep the plumbing and bulb from migrating upward on the shaft. A few weeks ago during my 4 month post op visit I was advised that there is no need to do that at this point as the implanted hard ware (my terms) will not move at this point.

Guys,
If your Uro tells you to keep pulling your pump down, do it. Unless it's put in by the superstar of high pumps, it will drop to the bottom. My pump lies right at the bottom of my scrotum. My local Florida Urologist is tops. I highly recommend him and the team at Florida Urological Associates.

Absolutely. I didn't even have to pull down much. My pump has been on the bottom of my scrotum since the second week post-op.:)
