Frozen Peas

Postby Vagabond127 » Thu Jan 25, 2018 11:11 pm

I've been told by many on this site to make good use of bags of frozen peas for the purpose of soothing some of the pain and reduce swelling. My question is where do you store them? Most of the hotels upper on the upper east side don't have freezers in their rooms. Do you ask the hotel to store them in their kitchen or are there enough grocery stores nearby to buy them on as you need them?

Skip the peas. Get the ice pack from Amazon that Dr Eid will recommend. Order a bucket of ice from room service and add to ice pack or doubled zip lock bags. I used a bucket of ice per day.

I bought 2 of the tradition blue ice bags at walmart for about 6.00 each. They have a wide mouth for filling are waterproof

The purpose if for an ice pack... go to the ice machine with a ziplock bag and make your own. You just need to make the pieces small in some areas between your legs.

the biggest reason for peas or corn is that because the "ice" is so small it can be snug fitting. :D

I agree with Larry. The frozen peas hug your junk better than ice. I used peas religiously. It did the trick. But i was at home and it was convenient. Dont know how you would pull that off in a high end hotel room. So if you use the ice, pack a hammer in your bag. You will appreciate the smaller pieces.
