Some fluid around the pump 3 months after the implant

Postby Phoenix » Fri Jan 19, 2018 9:55 pm

Hello everyone,

I received my implant coliplast titan on the 24 October 2017.
Was activated at 3 week mark.
Had sex 4th week postop.
I have been cycling for an hour everyday asuggested anf have been having sex 3-4 times a week on and average or maybe a bit more.
Used to have quite a bit of pain while pumping to the max but that started to diminish from 10 week.

My main concern is I have noticed some fluid around the pump since yesterday morning.
I have been cycling quite aggressively in the last few days and the pump had slipped a few time while trying to squeeze hard
It is not painful, I don't have any fever or any signs of infection.
Just that it hard to feel the pump. It is a little tricky to inflate and deflate easily.

Has anyone experienced similar issue.

I would be grateful if anyone can share their experiences and offer advise

Regards
Phoenix

Is the water associated with pain or discomfort?
Do you've pain in your groin?
Is the incision fully healed?

Update
Had a follow up appointment with the doctor to check what tbe fluid is
Doctor seems that it is a bit u unusual ans wasn't sure
Ordered an ultrasound and drained the fluid partly
Has sent it away to the path lab
Said could be reactionary or haematoma
Prescribed some antibiotics and has asked me to take it easy for next 5 days
