Pump Stuck To Scrotum Skin

Postby Limpbizcit » Mon Jan 01, 2018 1:17 pm

Happy New Year FT members

So far my recovery has been pretty good. I was implanted 12/12. I have not been cleared to cycle because I still had fluid in my scrotum. That has gone away and I can feel my pump. Problem is its stuck to my scrotum. It's stuck to the front of my sack, and the deflation block is just below my incision. I pulled at it a bit in the tub but didn't want to cause any damage. My surgeon is out of the office this week. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this or know of anyone who has, and how was it handled?

Mike.

You’re doing the right thing pulling down in the tub. Try it twice a day. You could also try to gently massage and pull the scrotum away from the pump.

Who was your surgeon. Is nobody available from his office to advise? My op was 9/12 and I still have a battle going on between my balls and the new "space invader" in my sac but it's settling down each day. My next check up is 5th Jan and will no if I am to start cycling then. Still all feels a little tender but we all heal differently.
Now Implanted 9/12/17. 52 years old with ED for over 20 years. Tried all the pills and injections. Update. Implanted with Titan 22 + 1. by DR Ralph Dec 9th London. Now in recovery and at 3 months feeling the journey was worth the pain.

I have read on this forum that adhesions to the skin inside the scrotum often release after a time and the swelling goes down. The advice you have gotten so far is totally agreeable to my mind as well.

My sack was stuck to the pump early on. I noticed it as swelling went down. I got a pulling feeling that pinched me. It has subsided but still have a very tiny dimple on the sack were I think it still is stuck. It doesnt bother me. I mentioned it to my surgeon who wasnt too concerned. I tried hot baths and pulling at it. Still connected and i am 7 mos post op. Dont know what else they could do outside of making a small incision and cutting it. Then i would have pain and risk of infection for something that doesnt bother me. At this point i ll live with it. If it breaks free, fine. Otherwise im all set.

Mike,
There is a post here in the Implnt area regarding X-rays. In his post Hugh mentioned that two staples showed up on his scrotum. He said he thought it was holding the tubing in place. Maybe you have a similar setup.

Mine feels like my left nut is adhered to the pump, maybe not my nut but the epididimus,(sorry for the spelling) I have to be carefull how I squeeze the pump, if I don't hold it right it feels like I am squeezeing my left nut.

Thanks for the replies. Where would I be without you guys! I'm gonna try the heated sock of rice to loosen things up and gently pull. Any problem have me and my surgeon up in arms. He pumped it up during my 2nd week follow up. It was a thing of beauty! I would hate for it to meed to be removed. But you replies have put me at ease. Can't wait to start cycling.
