I understanding oversizing can also lead to the implant folding when flaccid. Accordion like?

That plus additional pressure on tissue at the tips that could cause tissue errosion.

Known as the "S-curve deformity"
Apparantly a risk of length-expanding implants if oversized. The AMS Ultrex (discontinued) may have been subject to this, but the LGX is capable of this also. But such medical errors are rare.

Erosion is a big problem by being oversized.
54 years old, happily married for 30 years to a beautiful & outstanding lady. Onset ED at 49. Finally fixed on 11/08/2017 by the master Dr. Eid with a Titan XL 26, no RTEs! Previously had 3 AMS implants (LGX & CX), all botched.

That would be ugly if the tips were to erode to the point of sticking out. Not to mention painful

I saw Eid also. I lost length.
I told him if we could split difference between what I lost and
what he was giving me I would schedule the surgery.
He said no. It is what it is and that’s it.
He understands/knows everyone wants to be larger.
He is a nice guy that I think wants to do the best for his patients.
