Bob,
I hope your recovering well. Just curious, with this revision surgery, how long do you have to stay on your back before you can travel home? I'll be doing something similar in January.
Best,
Mike

My surgery was at 7:00 am, and I left the hospital at 2:00 pm, with my wife driving. It's about a 2-1/2 hrs trip. Unfortunately, we hit a curb in a parking lot about an hour from home and had to wait for a flatbed to take us and the car to our local dealer, then an Uber home. Involved a LOT more activity than I planned on. I no doubt over did it, but really had no choice. Spent yesterday mostly in bed and plan the same today.
Scrotum hurts, swelling is not too bad. All in all, much less painful than original. I can tell where my new pump is, but I haven't gone exploring down there yet.

Larry,

Welcome back, but it is so soon, man!!! Relax, and “ice, ice, baby!” Talk to you tomorrow.

I can tell where my new pump is, but I haven't gone exploring down there yet.

Bob:

Did Dr. Kramer tell you exactly what he did? I'm wondering if he only had to reposition it or he replaced it and added longer tubes. If he replaced it, did he add more saline? And, did he use the same Titan Touch pump or something different?

Sorry to be so inquisitive but I'm going in January to have Dr. Kramer do exactly the same thing and I'm wondering about some of the details and/or options.

I'm sure looking forward to hearing you say your pump is now easy to pump with just one hand.

Day three and things are getting better. Still sore if I stand too much, but noticeably less so. Sorest spot is where the pump used to be. That, and the sharp corner of the block on the new pump, but figure that will take some time.
The pump seems to be bulb end down, at the bottom of my scrotum. I've explored a little, but too tender to actually grab or find the deflate button. This may sound strange, but I really miss cycling this baby.

To answer some specific questions I got via PMs:

My original pump was removed and a new one with longer tubes was installed. The original LGX pump was pre connected to the cylinders -- the length of the tubing was fixed. With the new pump Kramer could choose the overall length of the tubing by deciding where to cut and connect the existing and new tubes. He used the capsule that had formed around the original pump to help hold the new pump down in place. There's a video of a re-positioning he did recently at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7vb1AD1jTgg
(This isn't mine, but mine should be posted in the next couple of days.)
Hope this answers the PM questions. Any others, ask away.

I may be out of the loop but why all these revision surgeries. Why can't a terrific doctor put a pump in the right place. I used a local in Orlando and my surgery was flawless! Pump at the very bottom of my scrotum.
