Greg
Greg, when did the pain stop for you? What I'm now finding is that the skin of my scrotum is really sore, not just where the incision was but all over. I think it's from pumping and deflating, especially deflating. I feel like I need to take a couple days off from inflating and deflating once a day (I'm at 3 weeks + 2 days post implant) to let the area calm down.

Many thanks.
I was very fortunate that I never had what I would call pain. I have had Gallstones which lead to Hallvladder surgery and Rotator Cuff surgery and they may have toughened me up but my recovery from implant surgery was easy. It was uncomfortable to try to locate the pump early on and when I was getting up if I put pressure on my scrotum it was sore. I had a Penis total incision so sometimes it got rubbed as I sat up.

My doctor set my avtivation appointment at four weeks where he was going to shoot e me how to inflate. I was a bit eager and healing so well that I cheated and did start at about three weeks. I was gentle and didn’t have anything more than a feeling of the incision area being tender and sensitive. We are all different so you just have to listen to your own body and not change moats to anyone else.

4-Weeks Post-Implant

First off, I want to thank everyone on here who has been so helpful in answering my questions. Even at 4 weeks this is still a wild ride.

It's amazing the difference 4-weeks make. I didn't have time to cycle last night so I got up early this morning and took a hot bath and pumped it up over 40 times (I lost count). I measured and am now 6.25" which is pretty close to what I was before. That's exactly what the surgeon told me I'd be.

The bath is probably optional at this point but I find it loosens my scrotum and makes it a lot easier to inflate and, especially, deflate. At the risk of too much information, I jerked off in there without pain at all. It was amazing to not need any porn or intensive stimulus. I could just lie back and enjoy an erection that wasn't going anywhere.

Deflating is still a bitch. I know it will get easier, but it's still a two handed awkward process. I have to stand up to do it and bascially attack my scrotum. Hurts like bejesus but gets there in the end.

My pump still sticks out too far but I'm hopeful it will keep settling in. My shaft is also mellowing out. I've read a lot about Titans here. It's still pretty full looking (5" and thick as hell now when flaccid). It also takes a bunch of 'rearranging' to get it in the right position, but it doesn't look nearly as erect anymore as it was. I have dog ears but not so bad, and I'm squeezing them a lot to try to soften them up.

Overall, I'm feeling very good about taking the leap. Still not ready to publicly debut it, but getting closer.

Three photos enclosed for those interested (flaccid, showing the pump, and inflated).

I'm working on deflating now, and it is a bitch. I'm still not sure I fully understand the Titan deflate valve. Does the button need to remain fully depressed or does it switch into a deflate mode and can be released while squeezing the penis? I've seen references to it working both ways so I'm confused. I have managed to deflate enough to make it more comfortable and looks about like your flaccid pic.

Hi Warren, I've been keeping it depressed when I deflate. I use two hands (one on the pump to hold it steady, the other on the button) and then once I have a solid grip on the little button, I let go of the second hand and use that to squeeze my shaft.

One piece of advice another guy with a Titan gave me was also to bend the shaft downwards 90 degrees to help squeeze the fluid out. It hurts but it helps. I'm hoping practice makes perfect, but a long road still ahead there.

We all want and deserve a perfect pump placement. However, there are so many things that will impact the final outcome. Aside from the obvious surgery error, which is unacceptable, I want to offer you my experience.

Having an extremely high pump as a result of my second surgery, which rendered the implant rather unusable, I prefer it being low since you don’t have the worry about being incapable of pumping, not just now, but for the mid range future. As we age, dexterity always start to decline. Having it located low (low but not twisted, I mean) is something that will not prevent the patient to use it. Actually, we have more torque, which it is a bonus that works in our favor.

Just a thought...

Size-wise, I measured 6 and change today and girly 5.25, so it's stretching since first inflation.

I hope it was autocorrect that changed girth to girly. I dont think any thing about our dicks is girly

I'm still not sure I fully understand the Titan deflate valve. Does the button need to remain fully depressed or does it switch into a deflate mode and can be released while squeezing the penis?

I asked my Dr. about this. Specifically, I asked him what was Coloplast's definition of a momentary press of the button. He said you should be able to press the button and then use both hands to squeeze your dick. But, he also said that he always holds the button down with one hand and squeezes the dick with the other. And that was exactly how he did it when he activated me. I'm at 9 weeks now and still struggling with the deflate routine as I have a high pump. But, thankfully, I've been able to push the button (using two hands), let go and squeeze with both hands. So, it does work that way.

Thanks Tom, that explains what's happening with me. I was able to get into a deflation mode where I can deflate by just squeezing the penis, no pressure required on deflate button, but the penis will slowly inflate back to about 50%. So the next step would be a quick firm pump after deflation to switch the valve back to inflate mode, at least that's what I read.

I have the Titan One Touch Pump. When deflating I have to squeeze the valve and the opposite side of the pump together. I have to continue to squeeze the deflate part of the pump and also squeeze the shaft starting at the head then move down to the base. That should do it. Most pumps all work the same, only difference it the actual deflate buttons.
Good luck
