Implanting Men w/ Severe Psychogenic Blocks

Postby defiant » Thu Nov 23, 2017 5:07 am

Hi guys,

As the name of the topic suggests, I am here to ask if anyone knows of any cases whereby men have been implanted because of years, nay, over a decade of worsening psychogenic ED that doesn’t respond to psychotherapy and CBT with a worsening mental state by the year and decreasing response to pill therapy.

I know the next stages are injections, pellets and pumps but who honestly wants that.

I’ve had 3 dopplers now, over a course of years. The first said I have a ‘mild venous leak’ and the other two showed no leak. This is itself is not useful.

I just want to be rid of this mental strife. I’ve lost all confidence and yes pills still work to an extent but the anxiety and obsession is beginning to win that battle too.

And I am losing the best years of my life. I’ve already been through brain cancer and lots of personal trauma. I am only 33, noticing problems after a failure to launch at 22.

Thanks
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

Unfortunately it does take its toll on you.
Go see a phycologist that deals with sex issues. If insurance will cover it.
They have clinics that offer free services also.
Very common to have other issues because of Ed. Low self esteem etc.

I felt the same way. When It started for me was before viagra. I waited for years because I did not want to go with injections. But injections was not bad as far as pain goes it was
hard for me to inject. I would have done injections more or continued but it did not work for me.
Good you are seeking treatment for ED. I have been like this for 20 yrs. They have better treatments now and because of the internet I have learned a lot from this site what optons are available. Also what to expect from people who have gone thru it.

As far as self esteem goes. After I got Ed I pretty much stopped dating.
I have never been married. All friends are married. Used to be into cars and houses.
I think I am better looking than most of them.
A few of the the wives come to me complained about the size or should I say lack of size of thier hubby junk. A few of them wanted to hook up with me at hotel.
I thru the years laughed it off saying that I can not do that because I am not good at sharing. I go to the city regularly and for some reason they think I have a great sex life.
One of the women hit on me again. Last time I saw her was about 15 yrs ago. 15 yrs ago I told her I hook up could not because she could not go missing from her husband for a weekend.
She started blushing thru her makeup. She did not know what to say. I have a funny felling she went home and burned thru a few vibrators after that. She did look dam good after the boob job.

Nothing wrong with going to talk to a professional about it.
Personally I think it is a good idea. Especially if thinging of getting an implant in some cases. I went to one. Free consultation with sex therapist.
Not a hooker from backpage.
She told me it was not in my head. She did suggest I seek out other Urolgist. That is when I signed up for this site. Then I went to see implant Dr. Learned a lot a total my optons and jump started me looking for a solution.

Other optons and new MD options every day.
Don't give up and take care of yourself otherwise. Try working out. Take a walk. Eat right buy that sunscreen I hate, use a face was and moisturizer.
I am 50, when I go go out with friends same age most look 10- 15 yrs older than me.
One wife told me yrs ago that she has no sex life. Her hubby gets winded changing the tv stations with remote control. She is UGLY. Even her vibrator ran away UGLY.
I ignore her. One time she told me that i must have a great sex life that I don't get married. I put in poker face and smiled like I do have a great sex life. Burned her up. Found out later I was the talk at that party behind my back about my great sex life.
Guys became mad at me because of wives where missing out on good sex being married.  .

Few yrs ago. I was about 45 at the time i was dressed like a bum. I got picked up by a woman she was 35. She was aggressor, all I wanted when I went in was a salad with chicken for dinner. She looked good. Yes it hurt not calling her.

If you want DM me.
Take care
Bond

Bond, I hope things go well and get better for you. You may be surprised at how you can regain some if not all of the size you've lost (it depends on many things, of course). Hang in there, brother. (And enjoy what you've got, you sexy stud you!) ;)

I received my implant due to PTSD and injuries to my back during the Afghanistan and Iraq wars so yes you can but they really try all different types of stuff prior. Don’t rush it but if it is needed they will find it medically necessary
52 married 25 years, ED started when I was in military from nerve damage back & PTSD in 2003 following my last deployment. Implant was done at Hines VAMC by Loyola University. They implanted a AMS 700 CX (18 cm with 5 cm tips) installed on 10/4/2017.
