It is hard to be dissatisfied with one's last resort.

One elects the last resort when there is no other available solution promising anything better than what you have.

In the case of implants, this is when sexual relations by any other means is simply unacceptable or outright impossible.

My point is that it is hard to be unsatisfied when you have scraped the bottom of the barrel. Unless the implant made you worse off, it would be an improvement.

At the risk of being judgemental, Unless the implant made you worse off, what is there to be unsatisfied abou?. There was no where to go but up. If there was, an implant probably was premature.

There will be times when you ask yourself what you did and why. You will have setbacks while you heal. When you hold a hard dick your hand again have sex with out fear of failing, makes it worth it. It is also a learning curve for you and your partner. It weill feel different

That applies to you but not to me. There was no “learning curve” and I only asked me why I didn’t I get the implant sooner. One thing is different: now I can make love for hours! My wife said it feels absolutely natural. Both of us are extremely happy, what an increase of quality of life.

Exactly.

From total impotence to any functionality at all with an implant is a step up.

If you have the ability to have penile sex of any degree, there is a possibility of reduced function (which is what I supposed the original question was), there is the potential for dissatisfaction.

This is why implantation is the last resort. (See my earlier post)

The potential improvement is VAST. The cost (in pain and/or money) temporary. The pain lasts a few days or weeks, discomfort a few months maybe. The money cosst can last years, but, hopefully, like a good car, the car will last longer than the payments.

I posted last year (tongue in cheek) that some men might think of an implant as a way to deal with the typical male mid-life crisis: Buy a sports car and drive like a kid again. Or get an implant and fuck like a kid again. Both cost about the same and have about the same service life.

Not a chance. My implant took me from the lowest of lows to highest of highs. Can perform any time. Any place. With confidence. Basically, a rebirth. Should have done it sooner and would do it over again in a minute.
