Hey guys. This is my second implant..the first failed. THe first was placed through the scrotum. The new one was inserted via an incision just abouve the base of the penis in the fat pad area. Been six weeks since placement and the fat pad still seems to be swollen. How long did it take for yours to get back to normal? Thanks

Many of the members here are familiar with the terminology of infrapubic and infrascrotal approaches to this surgery. You may want to search infrapubic to find previous discussions of the topic. Also you could search swelling. Six weeks seems fairly long but what I've found (NOT IMPLANTED) is that healing varies greatly for the members here. Some men are humping like rabbits 4 weeks after and feel great, others are still healing 2-3 months or more after. If nothing is oozing from your incision area, I imagine that is a good sign.

Hopefully infrapubic implantees will help more.

Took a while for the incision to heal up. It didn't hurt though. I'm almost 4 months post surgery and it has heeled up good now.

My incision was infa pubic. The thought of getting my nuts cut terrified me. I healed completely in about 3 weeks. I had absolutely no complications. I am now past one year post opp. I couldn't be more pleased with the results!
