Question for AMS LGX Guys

Postby Greg1956 » Sat Oct 28, 2017 8:28 am

Gentleman,
Most of my life, before my penis shrank, when I was nude it would flop around from side to side when I moved. When erect I would say it was more of a bouncing movement. So far with my AMS it is more of a bounce, both soft and hard. I know with time the cylinders have the capacity to expand, which must mean they relax a little. My question is, does the implant ever relax enough that a soft penis flops around like it did pre-implant? I LOVE my implant so this question is out of curiosity, not concern. Thanks in advance for your replies.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

I got my implant back in February and I am experiencing the same issue although no complaints. It is still hard when fully deflated. Enjoy the attention my bulge is getting though. AMS LGX 700.

Me too. "Flaccid" has a whole new meaning, like "hard, but not rock hard." And that's with the AMS LGX....

Been implanted for 2.5 years and look natural and swing naturally. mMake sure you have all of the
fluid out of the AMX. I've heard that hitting the button one more time after deflating helps keep
the implant more natural. I also spent a year of stretching to lengthen me after losing almost
two inches and this definitely helped the natural length insofar as I look like a "shower" now, not a
"grower." Perhaps just be more patient and things will "swing better" for you.

LGX 18 w/3 RT extenders 2/24/15 by DR.Edward Karpman in CA. ED caused by venous leakage for 10 years. Age 72. Home is Louisiana. Lost but regained by stretching, pumping. Now 7.25 x 5.75 and happy with results!!!

I have done everything but put it in a wringer washer
and it is still hard or semi stiff and doesn’t hang like it did before. Perhaps time will tell.

Thanks guys.

Rick, I don't think a ringer sounds like much fun so either getting used to it or letting time dictate what will be will be is the answer.

Bigbadbrad,
I am guessing your large penis size is probably responsible in part for being more normal looking. For those of us with less inches there is less length and weight for it to hang more naturally.

Bob,
You and I seem to have a lot of the same things going on.

5 mos post op here and still semi-rigid. Agree though, the flacid is more impressive than before. Some guys squeeze all the saline out of the lgx for a more comfortable feel and natural look. Other guys are happy to throw a few pumps into their flacid to have a bulge. Its amazing the decisions we now have to make.

Greg I had my AMS 700 cx for 24 years, I used to be able to squeese all of the fluid out of my implant, and it would hang normally. But what I liked to do was put a few pumps in to make it appear bigger,(never was verry well endowed) especially if I was going to the beach. It is too early to tell yet with the new Titan, at the moment I feel like I am walking around with a half erect penis.

WOW ! 24 years is impressive with the ams. Congrats on the revision. Keep us up to date. I am curious on the comparison between the two implants given you now have had both. Rest up and heal well.

Bandit,
There are many guys who are curious about AMS vs. Titan. It’s great when we have members who have had had both to give some input, but an important thing we all need to remember is the prior implant was old and likely not exactly the same as it would be today. Materials and technology have changed over the years, making each brand better today than in the past.
