No, I don't even know where the reservoir is, and never asked.

I can feel tubing on my right side of the base of my penis. I can feel my cylinders when flacid but not when erect. As far as the reservoir, my doc told me he place it a little higher due to scar tissue but i dont feel it nor has it been an issue at all since surgery. Overall, its great. Get it done as soon as your ready. Waiting doesnt help anything !

Yep, I can feel the tubing too. Doctor left plenty of slack in the tubing, and I'm glad he did. Because I can position the pump horizontally which makes it easy to hold with my right hand while I pump with my left hand.

The reservoir is placed in the abdomen so there Is no way you will feel it.
Take a written list of questions with you to the appointment so you don't forget to ask. Be sure to ask how many implants he/she does per year. You want a Dr who is doing lots.
When I had mine done I had an initial visit with Dr. Brock at which time the surgery date was set for 7 months later.

So, what's wrong with Dr. Brock? I am due to be implanted by him in December.

My reservoir is just a tad left of center. I had to have a second incision above my penis to place it there. Reason being I have had two hernia surgeries with mesh. It is buried deep so I can't feel it. I don't even notice anything at all in that area. I don't even think about it. As long as I squeeze that bulb and my old dick rises I couldn't care less where the reservoir it.
