implant 8/16: a new day

Postby roccorenzo » Sat Aug 19, 2017 5:47 pm

Had the implant surgery Wednesday, 8/16. The pain of day 3 ran into day 4 since the cylinders got filled somehow and I had to have the urology DOC shut it down because it was hurting and bent too much. The pain was really like nothing I've ever known when he pumped it down. I'm sure this is how other guys have questioned what they've done. I have a lot of strange emotions about this. Will have to hang tight and see the progress. But this makes me feel uneasy. Any words of guidance?

The only cure is time. Be patient. For the time being, rest and dream about all the great sex you'll have when fully healed!

Soon all the pain will be a distant memory and you'll be back in the game.

It's normal to have those thoughts. About day 6 or 7 I was like wtf did I do. This too shall pass. It gets better.

Let me say that my first one was good enough that when it failed at about 4 and a half years, worked as fast as I could to get it replaced. My replacement was two days behind you, I am just one day out of surgery. Travelling down the path to recovery. By the way an implant can give new meaning to spending the night together.
