I think it's no surprise that most of us wait so long. This is our little buddy even if it doesn't work. There's also probably the thought that there's a fix coming up or that it is mental and maybe it will get better by itself. I swear I probably would've done less research if I was getting a heart transplant!
36 years old. Coloplast Titan OTR implanted on 6/1/2017 infrapubically. 20 cm cylinders (no rear tip extenders) with a 125 ml reservoir. So far so good!

Les, Only 10 weeks huh. Cool, I'm about 16 days post op. I'm anxious to see how it will be. This mini erection is uncomfortable, but it's not too bad. Thanks for the encouragement!

You guys are awesome. You know I come in here every now and then for a little pick me up. Low dose Cialis and a testosterone boost from Clomid are doing me well for now, but I'm no fool and I know where problems in a guy's early 40s will ultimately lead. It's so comforting to see the place you folks are at -- especially a guy like Alibaba, who has had so many issues along the way. A real light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks, guys.
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

Yep, my issues started in my 50's. Viagra worked great for two years, then stopped. Went to injections which worked great for a few years. I actually loved using bimix. Instant hardon in 5 - 7 minutes that lasted for hours. But last year around August, I started having mishaps to where it eventually stopped working all together. Eventually ended up using a rocket fuel mixture of Quadmix which didn't work either and caused a lot of pain. In February I was diagnosed with a severe 35% venous leak. No wonder the stuff wasn't working. Tried restricting the outflow of blood from the penis with terrible results. The one ring I found that did work, popped veins in my dick, and it hurt like heck. At this point, I gave up on injections and finally inquired about a implant only after my urologist asked me a year earlier if I ever considered an implant.

I was waiting (for years) for Brazilian wandering spider venom ed treatment to be perfected for humans. They know in the ER in Brazil when a guy comes in comatose if he was bitten by a wandering spider. He has a fully erect dick despite being out cold. Researchers have isolated the protein responsible and synthesized it. They tested it on aged, obese, diabetic impotent male rats who began screwing up a storm and more importantly, didn't die. The poor guys in Brazil don't hang on more than a few hours after a bite. Then someone commented to me on this forum the human trials could be years away, if ever. Said person also noted that at my age of 64 I was at the threshold of geezerhood. Got me to thinking. Still waiting for the Uro's office to get insurance approval. My only remaining reservation is that after having 18 major surgeries with painful recoveries, I have an extremely high opioid tolerance. My surgeons know this and prescribe pain meds liberally, something I doubt a uro will do. Not looking forward to even a few days of extreme pain being treated with a wimpy 10/325 hydrocodone!
Became DaveKell 2.0 on July 18th with Dr. Allen Morey in Dallas, TX. AMS 700 CX implant. 18cm with 5.5 RTE's.
