A new partner may not be able to notice that you even have an implant.

However, here's how I like to think about it. Women should WANT a man who has a Penile Implant. It's hard when you want it to be hard, and it's soft when you want it to be soft...there's an element of control there that a lot of other methods don't give you. In one of my patient testimonials on my website, I have a patient perfectly describe why he loves his implant so much...it is because he could now go as long as needed to insure his partner's enjoyment.

So anyone who dates someone with an implant should feel incredibly lucky. Just my two cents!

I agree totally with Dr. Blick. I have fortunately been able to go through this ED thing for almost 20 years with my loving, understanding wife (who just happens to LOVE sex) of 45 years, and she has suffered as much or more than I have with my ED. I have obviously been out of the dating business forever, and my views are somewhat jaded. However, I can understand when a guy first starts dating a gal there is certainly no need to blurt out that he has a penile implant. However, once the relationship progresses to hopping in the bed, I feel you can't continue living a "lie", if you will. It's time to tell. And my thoughts on that are if she likes you well enough to get to that stage, and then a Bionic Dick turns her off, then she ain't the one to have around anyway!!
My opinion.
65. Married to the love of my life for 45 years. ED since 1998, Viagra worked then quit. Vacuum pump and constriction rings. then tried injections, one semi-successful, remainder were a flop. Implant with Dr. Kramer on 6/21/17 AMS 700 21cm+ 2cm RTE.

I find this conversation interesting

I was reading on how after sex women become more attached to men than the other way around (because biologically it could result 10 month pregnancy / in a baby)

Men are experts at getting women into bed. If I get an implant I hope I still feel 'horny' (right now my ed is bad, like I don't care about sex or really think about it) and I hope I can still ejaculate (I just worry about that and sensitivity)

I'm moving forward toward an implant and 31 and single - it's really my only option at this point - and am just looking for some encouragement I suppose!

I suppose some of the single guys are too busy with "other activities" to give much thought to the forum.

Agreed PFracture.. Not many younger guys who were implanted saying what it's like to date. No or very few stories it seems of single young implanted guys having long term relationships and children
