Implant Doctor in California ?

Postby treetop » Thu Apr 13, 2017 6:22 pm

I am going through these posts and learning a lot.

One question, I see lots of New York and Boston area doctors.

Anyone in Southern California got an Implant? And if so, are you happy with your doctor?

I'm not ready for that step, but learning. And at some point want to make good decisions if I go this route.

Sounds like everyone flies to the East Coast for these.....

I have visited Karpman's website; he seems to be one of the mostly talked about in the West Coast.

I do not have direct experience with him; I just know that he uses infra pubic method. I I'm biased since my previous implant was done using such method, and even thought it tends to shorten the healing time, I have flawed results. Pump very high, etc., which I have heard is one the most common complaint.

But again, I do not have direct experience with him, just bad experience with the method. Maybe he has mastered it to a point that he has flawless results.

Another great west coast doctor is Dr Lue at UCSF in San Francisco. He specializes in Peyronies an ED. He did my implant and I was extremely pleased with the results. My healing time was within three weeks and I lost no size.

I was referred to Dr. Jesse N. Mills at UCLA to discuss ED and possible implant https://www.uclahealth.org/jesse-mills
Anyone have any experience with Dr Mills?

Yes, anyone have opinion of Jesse Mills? He would be about a 90 minute drive from my home.

Or any other doctor in Southern California?... I prefer local.
Or I will go with Dr. EID in New York and spend the $2,000.00 extra for flight and hotel.

Open to any opinions....

Thx - Treetop.

Jimbruski,
Did you create a post on your implant journey? If so can you send me a link.
So... your happy with Dr. Lue?... I am thinking of flying to NY for Dr. EID.. but not sure yet.
I live in SoCal. So I guess I would have to fly either say.
