Had surgery yesterday and just got up to empty my cathader., take pain medication and prepared an ice pack. Pain is moderate, but want to stay ahead of it so it doesn't become severe. I plan to stay up 20-minutes on ice and then try to sleep. In the morning I have to remove the cathader, a little concerned but it will be a relief not dragging it around like a ball and chain. I hope I can keep the scrotal swelling to a minimum, staying off my feet, just can't tell with all the bandages, but it all comes off in the morning. Wish me luck removing the cathader, if you hear a loud scream in Baltimore it might be me. Dr. Kramer said he would be posting this weeks surgeries tonight. I look forward to seeing the procedure and hope his hands were in top form yesterday.

I just removed my cathader, I honestly thought it would be painful, nothing to it. Now I wonder how long before I pee, and if it burns. I read on someone's forum they had to get the cathader put back in. Right now I will be excited to see the first flow, burning or not.

Good morning!

A few moments ago, I removed the catheter. No pain or discomfort at all!!! My guts do not tolerate well the Oxy, so I am on Ibuprofen 800mg that Dr. Kramer prescribed for me. I have the Oxy just in case, but 24 hours after surgery I only took one at the hospital because it was given to me by the nurse before heading to the hotel.

I am not feeling any intolerable pain as of now, so I have managed with the ibuprofen. I took one last night, slept all night through, and took another one @ 8:30am, after removing catheter and dressing.

Dr. Kramer implanted the not-well-known LGX 24cm, plus 2.5cm RTE.

Plumber, now I understand your board name, you have got a pipe at 24cm. Glad to hear all is going well for this morning friend. You won't believe it, but I had a prescription of Motrin 800 in my overnight bag. Per your advise, I will try them to prevent constipation. I hate pain meds. If I had my choice I would have a case of beer up in the room. Help clear the bladder and knock the edge off of any light to moderate pain.

PS: have the wife pickup popcorn for our YouTube debut tonight. Go to Dr. Kramer's website and he said he will post our surgeries this evening.

Yes, we already have a concession stand waiting for the video. My wife will do an effort to watch my surgery. I do not think will last the entire "show", she does not want to get involved into the forum or YouTube. But for me, she will make an effort.

I had to post to see if my profile change updated. 1st implant was 18cm + 1cm RTE, too small size cylinders and tips did not reach glans. Dr. Kramer did revision on 3-15-17 and increased cylinder size to 22cm + 1cm RTE. the tips are planted deep in the glans which should fix both the length and floppy head. He said I should gain almost 2" in length, I'm so happy as the 1st implant hurt from day one and this has been a totally different experience. Also I recommend anyone considering infrapubic to investigate, mine was riddled with problems, and frankly I think less skilled surgeons use this method. Just my 2 cents, but if you read this forum, most serious blotches seem to be from the infrapubic approach.

I just updated my new signature, couldn't be happier. The last 90 days since my first implant were hell. Cylinders were 4cm shorter than what was installed by Kramer, the other dr didn't even have the tips planted in the glans, result, lost 2" and a floppy head. I want to thank Dr. Kramer the man, I very talented and class individual. I consider him a freind not just my doctor.
