I don't see how I'm going to cycle if I can't deflate.

I may have to wait until the pump disengages from my scrotum to deflate. This could take months.

You have to relax. With time, cycling is going to go back. Believe me, on my first surgery I was as anxious as you. Believe me, from the first day of cycling to the date of my second surgery, it went from 5 1/2" to 7".

How long does it have for this to be pain-free?

I have two types of pain:

1. Pain in the cylinders when pumping.
2. Pain from pressure squeezing the outside of the cylinders (a vagina, for example).

How long do these pains take to go away?

It varies per person, and also based on the maneuvers applied during surgery. If modeling was necessary, it will take longer. Based on my experience, I would say that between 2-3 months to basically feel just like before the implant.

Mine inflates to 3:30. Is that normal?

Also, I can't even imagine doing cowgirl at this point. I think it would snap off.

I am speculating because I don't have an implant, but have read a bunch, so feel like my guess might have some small value to you.

If you pump up fully, you may have to pick and choose what positions are possible and what old favoritts you will leave behind. That's the bad news. The good news is that if you pump up enough to achieve penetration, but not so much as to prevent ANY flex, you and your partner will find this more comfortable and permitting more position choices.

Call it "Dial-A-Dick" ; pump up to a custom degree of hardness/flexibility.

Where else than with a bionic man can a woman request "Make it harder" or "Make it softer" and actually have her partner provide?

Is it normal not to be able to pump it up all the way at the point?

As I understand it, discomfort is your warning and pain is your limit. But THE ONE PERSON you should ask this of is your Doctor.

He has seen your tissues and is in the second best position to advise you. You, of course are in the first-best position.

People here can only advise on what they experienced, but they are not you and EVERYONE is unique.

You can get a general insight here, but only you and your Doctor can have any hope of certainty, and SAFETY.
