Obviously, I'm concerned about loss of length, but other than that?

Placement of the pump?

Erosion?

I asked Dr Kramer if I had to worry about erosion, since he was really aggressive sizing me.He said no way he hasn't had an erosion in over 4000 cases. Also he changed the way he installs the pump.Mine is low in the scrotum and dead center...................Hope this helps.

Length should not be a problem and need to watch how much weight you lift after surgery. Ask Dr. Kramer as he had me not go above 15lbs. Be patient as internal swelling was still with me after 30days due to extra work he did in the lower left area. The area had more bruising then the other side. I read recently a man tried to use after 2 or 3 weeks and had trouble and lots of pain. Take your time and heal as needed before using.

Follow what the doc say and it will be fine and once you start pumping he had me inflate twice a day and still trying to maintain that. One man here took 2 yrs to recover all his size. I try tell guys so what if you have a loss of .25" as it works. Would you rather have a working 6" or whatever or a non working former 6.25"?

You will enjoy Dr. Kramer as he is not only he the best (my opinion) but always there for you. Good luck
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

I called his office today and his receptionist is out sick until tomorrow.

I'm going from 5.25" to 5" if I lose 1/4", so I'm not excited about that.

I personally think erosion is a non issue if you deflate it. Erosion is more of an issue with implants that cannot be deflated (rigid rods).
Just tell him your concerns and let him answer them. You've stated them here. Not being able to get a hard on due to issues.
Erosion
Replacement at a later date
Infection
Losing size
I am quite sure the good doctor will explain away your fears. From what everyone has said, he will answer your questions rather than be a prick and brush you off like some doctors. The don't give a damn god complex doctors seem to have the worst records. Surgery is a 2 way street in my opinion. If you share all the info you have and he shares with you, outcomes are better. He seems to be one of the doctors that understands this.

I just called Kramer's office asking "what if," I had to reschedule due to not getting all the pre-op done in time? I only had 20 days from scheduling to surgery.

His receptionist seemed irritated and said this is the 4th time I've called then either backed out of rescheduled. I explained that I wasn't rescheduling, I was just asking "what if," because they have a rule that if you cancel within two weeks, they won't accept you back.

She said she would have Dr. Kramer review my case and call back. I hope I didn't mess things up.

Should be no problem to get all your testing done in time. Eid sends you to a local lab the day before and gets everything in time for surgery. We have many lab tests, some quite comprehensive. Quest gets them all done in 24 hours. Labcorp gets them complete and back to us in 10 days. Uriculture and CBC should be the most of the labs you need and both of those labs are available in 30 minutes in a hospital setting. EKG is available immediately. You should have no problem as long as he sends a doctor signed script or a referral to your GP to have them done. Cheers bud. Awesome you can get scheduled so soon! I must say that complete calm set over me when I knew mine was scheduled and going to be done. I was not nervous about the surgery at all. Not like you are having a sex change and going to have to worry whether your shoes and purse match for the next 50 years! It will happen quickly. No worries. Cheers bud. You are on a roll!

I'm worried about if my EKG isn't clear (I'm a smoker) that I will have to get a stress test and that will take time to schedule.
