Jon,
I'm on day 6 and the swelling is gone. I can feel and touch the pump. Can't wait to 'road test' it with my wife. My surgery was intra pubic not scrotal. Which may be why swelling has diminished. Please check out my daily journal 'DD Bryan. My implant journey'. You can also ask me 'anything'.
Rev Donnie.

From what I have read, you are in the BEST of hands with Dr. Kramer. I am six days post surgery. For me, if I had to do it over, would not give it a second thought. The pain meds are controlling the pain. I wish you all the best and all of us here will be with you through your journey. Post when you feel up to it.
Good Luck :D
Bob

Can't resist a little humour - you want to be able to sit down and play the piano a week after surgery. My question - do you know how to play now?

All the best on your surgery. Won't be long before you'll hardly remember what it was like and you'll be so glad you did it!

jonbaldbg,
Yes most likely you will have a scrotum the size of a grapefruit ...or some guys describe it as the eggplant effect (big and purple) for a while. Use the ice bags for that the first week ... and if you want to sit and play the piano I would recommend an inflatable donut cushion.

Inflatable Ring Cushion ($12) Amazon.com

They work great and I still use mine every day (computer chair) car trips and sporting events, etc.

I am one of the guys that my scrotum did end up the size of a grapefruit. That goes away in a week or 2, although you will have some swelling for a while. It is about 18 months since my surgery and it has been 1000% worth it, I would do it again without a seconds hesitation.

Brother, I am right behind you. I fly into Baltimore next Monday and am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Kramer on Wednesday Oct, 19. I Hope everything goes well for you. I'm nervous too but after two years of having no erections I'm also excited and ready to get this show on the road.

Yes, my scrotum also was swollen after implant surgery...but it decreases over several weeks and then you are at least 90% on the road to being normal.

Yikes!! One to two weeks? I guess I'm up for it, I'm already in Baltimore. Regarding sitting on a donut to play the piano, I can't really do that. It's for a church choir rehearsal and I haven't told any of them that I'm having surgery. Maybe I'll get lucky!!

Dr. Kramer is very happy with what you see and re-gaining size. Length and girth have increased and hope to be back within the two years I plan on pumping every day or more. Still 5.5" and looking for that 6+" size I was at one time. If not, ok as it works and blood flow to head and shaft are great most mornings. Just follow his suggestions and be sure to go back for first inflate as I was still swollen inside after 4 weeks and he suggested I come back in 30 days (I did) and everything went well.

Enjoy the erection again and the lady your with will also.
