Gaining back length post surgery

I'm on my 3rd day post surgery as of today. (TITAN dont know specific size yet)
Everything seems to be doing well, little to no pain, I do have some pretty significant swelling around my penis especially directly above the shaft, but it did go down some overnight.
What I'm wondering is how does the process work of regaining the lost length from surgery?
I have read and understand cycling aggressively daily when cleared helps to restore or even improve girth, but if I understand correctly the implants ...(other than the lgx )do not grow in length?
If this is the case what causes the length to be restored? Is it just that the penins loosens up naturally and allows it to slowly find its original size?
Also is there any chance length lost to ed can be recovered through cycling?
I have searched the forum but have not found a specific answer on implants actually getting longer when inflated.

If properly sized you should get your pre implant length back with time, exercises and some including me used the perito exercises. My opinion and what I’ve read and studied says that the cylinders do actually stretch out when broken in. Perito has a series of videos called “Meet the penis”. You can go to Perito Urology and you’ll see the connection to the series. There’s a ton of great information on these videos including how and why it takes time to get back your length and girth. Spend a few hours watching these videos and most if not all questions about an IPP are discussed.

There are some good publications in the General Discussion section of this forum in the Documents worth reading thread. Basically there are 3 types of size loss. Loss from ED before surgery. Loss from surgery. And loss after surgery. VED use prior to surgery for penis exercise can help to restore some loss in some men. Not much use in going into that now as you are post surgery. Same with loss during surgery as that has already happened. Pretty much the same with after surgery as that, as with loss during surgery, has to do with doctor selection. Best to follow your doctors instructions at this point and avoid infection at all costs. After you are fully healed and released by your doctor you can try aggressive cycling unless your doctor says you can earlier. I did pump adding cycling after I completed my doctors instructions for cycling. This is where I would inflate to max and then wait a few minutes and then add or force more pumps. Then repeat every several minutes until I started to have pain. The idea was to cause and feel stretching. I have an LGX so I am not sure if this will help you or not. I had gains out past one year post op.

Pretty much you are locked in with what you have. If your doctor aggressive sized you then as you cycle and heal your tissue will stretch as your implant reaches it's full size. The Titan does expand a bit just not as much as the LGX.

Right now your job is to heal and avoid infection. An infection will result in many cases to additional size loss. So that is the most important thing. You want ot heal and follow your doctors instructions and not do anything that will result in infection. That will most like result in additional size loss and 2 additional surgery's. One to remove the infected device and than another months later to place another inflatable. In a few cases the infected inflatable can be removed and a wash out done and another inflatable placed. That is rare and only with the best doctors and a small percentage of men with infections. So chances are good for2 additional surgeries.

Just relax and do what you need to do to stay healthy and follow your doctors instructions. You just kicked ED's butt out of your life. In a few months things will be working fairly well. I did a lot of reading and knew that things could take a long time for me to fully heal and get used to the new me. I told myself I would not judge the outcome until one year post op. It can take that long for things like sensation and orgasm to return. I had gains even months after that one year. Just keep yourself healthy and follow your doctors instructions and hope you avoid infection.

I was fortunate not to lose much size, only about a 1/2” in both length and girth at the time I was first able to pump up at about 4-5 weeks and measure. I started cycling at 4 weeks but did not do it very aggressively until 6 weeks and stepped it up a bit further the last week and a half. I’m doing some of the exercises a bit more now too. I measured a couple days ago and I’m back up to 7” in length maybe a little more with good engorgement. I was just over 7” to 7 1/4” before. I’m also back to about 5” on the girth and a little better closer to the base. If you have a good surgeon and do some level of cycling it seems you will get back to where you were before surgery. It does seem to be different for everyone how quickly it comes back. Hope your recovery goes well.

I know there’s variable in each persons crux depth but I have a 20cm Titan with 1cm RTE and I’m 6-3/4 to 6-7/8 with glans engorgement… we have comparable length implants and comparable penile length. Just saying this as I’ve had comments that is unusual to get nearly 7” out of a 20 plus 1. Hope all is well. Enjoy your new toy!

Yes, you can regain length due to ED. I was 6.75 to 7 before ed, pre op i was 6 to 6.25. Post op I was 6, around the 6 month mark i started to grow. Today with cycling 2 times a day for an hour each time i am back to 6.5-6.75. I am 11 months post op and still feel the stretching feeling when cycling, i plan in cycling till that stretch feeling goes away.

That is encouraging to hear,I def plan on an aggressive cycling /perito excersize plan when cleared by my Dr.

It's too early for you to be worrying about your final post surgical length. You need to heal 1st.

But FWIW . . .

Men who lose length post-op already lost it pre-op due to prolonged ED and lack of use prior to surgery.

Men who did not have prolonged ED prior to surgery, should not lose any length and, depending upon the size of the implant used by the surgeon, can gain "some" length but, contrary to exaggerated claims I've heard here in the past, you should NOT to expect any gains to exceed 0.5-1" (if that).

-------------------------------

Also, FWIW, in my case, I initially gained 0.5" in girth & length post-op but lost those gains over time & reverted back to my pre-op size (without any further loss) but recently started pumping and regained the additional size doing that.

I was an experienced pumper pre-op. The increased size achieved thru pumping a normal dick is always temporary. I'm hoping (but do not expect) that regular pumping will expand the implant tubes so that the increased size becomes permanent. Only time will tell if that will happen or not.
