Merrix feels otherwise, but in my experience the deflate button must be held continuously to achieve fully flaccid. Pressing and then releasing the button (One Touch) has never worked for me.

Even if it were truly One Touch (press and release), pressure on the penis is required to return all the saline to the reservoir, it won't just flow there on it's own. The system would probably equalize somewhere around 50% deflation (1/2 the saline in the cylinders and 1/2 in the reservoir).

To prevent auto-inflation I still use two quick short pumps after deflation to set the valve. Maybe that isn't always necessary but it works so I continue to do it that way.

Did you not get a card that you carry in your wallet to show security officers at airports etc? My card had the peel and stick labels right off of the product. By the time I got my second one, they were not using wallet cards but I have the paper with all model numbers and serial numbers from all my parts. That should tell you what you have or if you only have numbers you can google them. I love google. :)

Your summary is the best I have read anywhere. I am on day 3 after Titan implant. Give me some advice..

I did not get material from Coloplast. Worse my doctor did not visit me to tell me the results. Then his residents visit me next day to discharge me and give the results. They screw that up by telling me I got 22cm plus rte 4" and 5". I am now a 26cm implant? They leave and I think about that. This is in the humongous range. I don't buy that. I catch them before they leave and they correct the answer to 22cm plus 1cm. That is believable.

When I asked this trip about cycling, activation, they said do not do anything for 6 weeks. But I am to pull down on the pump 4x a day.

So I am going to leave the cylinders and the reservoir alone for 6 weeks? Also do not put ice or take warm baths. Showers ok.

My take is that my dr doing the implant is world class for the surgery but is crappy with patient communication.

It is possible that they are dead right and I should just go with the flow.

What do you think about their advice. Don't touch anything?

I am doubting I am up to bending my penis double and squeezing it dry 11 days out.

Yes, agreed, all of us did not get "really good " at deflating until three months.

Also I am curious if what you have left at that point is a totally deformed looking penis. I have no real problem with that, just curious if I understand the concept.
It looks a little weird, but not bad; I think it is fine. Certainly, looks better than my natural flacud since it is bigger.

Finally. How do you lock the deflate button open so you don’t have to hold the button while you squeeze your penis?

Very good point. Supposedly, the deflate button is locked if you push hard on the deflate pad+pin. (that is how one touch deflate is supposed to work) BUT ALAS, as Merrix and others have stated, this "one touch feature" did not seem to work until the 6 or 8 month point . Here is my experience:
1) for months 1 to 6 after implant: I would press the deflate button with one hand and squeeze my shaft with the other. If I just squeezed the deflate pad for five seconds, I had the "general sense" that the system was not allowing egress of more fluid from the cylinders. Cylinders would sort-of refill in the next hour.
2) for months 6 to 12 after implant, I noticed that the refill issue (auto reinflation) was less noticeable
3) after 12 months, I noticed that if I pressed the deflate pads firmly for 5 seconds, my dick would go down to 50 percent of volume over a 45 second time frame (without the need to squeeze) and would then go down to 20 percent volume over a couple hours (in other words, I could press it firmly before going to sleep, and I would wake up fairly flacid). ALSO, it was around twelve months that I discovered the trick of folding my penis over itself (points down) with my fingers between the folded shaft. I would also push down towards my pubic bone to try to wring out every drop. I did this since I wanted to really try to get it to totally empty and since I wanted to ensure that the scar and space around the reservoir were larger and thius more able to accomodate the fluid.
4) Today, I deflate using the fold over technique to get every last drop out. Over the next 15 minutes, my cylinders do partially refill , but it makes for a very nice looking flacid that does not have an issue with showing through pants (well actually, there is a mild bulge, but it is quite fine looking)

So, to answer your question succinctly, yes, I think it is correct to assume that you need to press the deflate buton the whole time if you want to get maximum deflation (and yes, I use one hand to do the penis foldover technique, and the other to press the button.)

I have a Titan Touch Zero Degree Angle Cylinder .. confirmed from the Coloplast tracking documentation.

Similarly I find:

1 if you press the Touch forcefully it will open the valve to drain fluid back to the reservoir BUT ONLY WHILE YOU CONTINUE TO DEPRESS IT. IF YOU REMOVE YOUR HAND FROM THE VALVE THE VALVE CLOSES AND ALLOWS NO FLUID TO PASS

2. Auto inflation can be a risk... I sometimes need to drain the implant after 4 hours

I have the Titan touch. I had a really "hard" time getting mine to deflate, I just could not find the deflate button. So I call my Dr. and told him my problem and he sent me a model of the pump. It is the actual size and shape of the real pump. That was all I needed, I could see and feel the release valve, one side had a concave shape and the opposite side had the little button. Now that I could see what I'm supposed to feel it is no problem finding it. It does seem to work better when I hold the valve and squeeze my dick to get full deflation, then I give it about two pumps. It even comes with a handy key ring :o

I have the same toy Andy posted and the implanted pump feels identical. Merrix tells me he pops the button and that is it. I have to squeeze and hold mine. He said he originally did but no-long does. For me deflate is a slow process. Several seconds though I've never counted out the time but I can hold it and deflate it enough the cylinders are a crinkled up flattened nothing. If I do not squeeze, I have a plump 3:30 to 4:00 straight dick.

In over 30 years, working in health care, I have NEVER heard of a surgeon NOT recommending icing for swelling. Especially since you cannot cycle or have sex until the swelling is gone and the wound is healed. Very strange.

Dr. Eid told me constant ice until day three then 3 hot baths a day and NO ice after day three. It is clear that heat promotes circulation which is healing and cold, while it may have a numbing effect, diminishes circulation.
