Coloplast Titan (size unknown) replacing an AMS lgx (19 cm including the rte(s))

Started around 10am. Not sure how long it took. Maybe 2 or more hours. I have not spoken to dr. My dick is nearly wrapped with a catheter sticking out. The length seems more than 4 inches. No ruler. I estimate 5 inches.

I know little. But I emphasized to dr that I wanted him to do the actual implant.. not a resident etc. No problem. I said I was hoping that there is a chance I would need 24cm. He said unlikely. He rarely sees men needing that length.

I am surprised so far with the pain. Very little. Maybe a 5 on the person scale and that dropped fast. Now maybe a 2. Things might worsen as time goes on. But for now I am happy.

I am out of recovery watching TV. Nurse said the catheter will get pulled tomorrow. Told the dr I would be driving myself home. No problem.

I was given a sample of the pump and it appeared to be the Touch.. not the OTR. If so good news.

So far I am dodging the pain and discomfort bullet. Nothing like prior surgeries.. colon resection, ankle repair, kidney stone removal. However just getting started. Maybe tomorrow will be a turn for the worst. But the dr did say that because this is an 8yr revision AND the fact I have used the VED daily I would have very little pain. We'll see.

When I get more detail I will update.

That is great to hear about the low level of pain. I have a high pain threshold in reality but thinking about having an implant scared the crap out of me. I can't even watch the procedure being performed but I'm scheduled for a titan in Oct. Keep us informed and I wish you a speedy, painless recovery.

How far do you have to drive?

Less than 10 miles. I think I will be alright. I am currently sitting in a chair.

Update on pain.. shortly after my post pain hit me. I put it at 7 and reduced this 10 mins later to a 5. Got a pain killer at half dosage. Pain reduced to 2. A few hours later..now.. I am ok. Started walking around. I am optimistic stillbe ok tomorrow when i willbe discharged.

When I think about my new dick pain is not noticeable. What a mind game

Wish you a speedy recovery. I was an out patient on both the original implant and the revision. But my wife done the driving both times.

Was wondering what failed on the LGX. I have had some problems with the MS pump, I was wondering if that was why you had the revision done. Mine the valve sticks at times.

The pump would not stay deflated I had to repeatedly squeeze my cock. This was tolerable but for the second reason.

I could not get full inflation. I settled into a routine of using my VED till gett hated. Not a good plan to walk around with my VED. This causes engineering discussions.

Basically for me to get a good hard on it took anot 15 minutes.

The bonus points hopefully would be a thicker dick

Also maybe longer because revisions produce a longer dick for both males

Lastly I am old and I thought it better to get this done before I became surgery risk.

Ok.. just discharged! To my surprise this whole thing has been a cakewalk so far. Who knows what tomorrow brings.

Ok. Some facts. My old lgx was 15 cm with one rte 3 cm and the other rte was 4cm. Max was 19cm.

The new Titan is 22cm with rte of 1cm. Total 23cm.

Comparing the Titan is 4cm longer. HOWEVER what anot the expandibility of the lgx? Argument starts there. 20% of 15cm is 3cm. So this would bring the lgx to 23 cm .. same as the Titan! But my doctors (three of them) say the lgx does not expand like that. WTF.

In any event I will have at least a 6 1/4 girth.. a substantial improvement over my current 5 1/2 (provided i can my dick pumped up.. see above)

If you were looking for longer and girthier, you should have stuck with the LGX. The fact that you couldn't get fully inflated or deflated is not the product, it's the operator. Did you ever call AMS and speak to the field co-ordinator and have him or her walk you through the inflation or deflation? Good luck with your new implant.

Am I correct that the maximum diameter of a lgx 700 fully inflated inserted into tunica that will accomodate is 18mm? Whereas the Titan cylinder canexpand to 21 or 22mm. So the maximum diameter for the lgx is 18x2 or 36mm. The Titan calculates 21mm x 2 equals 42mm. Result is that the Titan has a longer diameter 42 vs 36 for the lgx. The difference of 6mm will produce an increase in circumference.. 6 x 3.1416.(PI) which increases the circumference by 3/4 ".. a huge increase in girth.

THIS ASSUMES THAT THE TUNICA CAN ACCEPT THE MAXIMUM EXPANDED CYLINDER.

I think that there is a consensus that the Titan provides more girth.
