Libido / Attitute to Sex & Women (pre and post IPP)

Postby defiant » Fri Aug 17, 2018 4:45 am

Hey guys,

This is a worrying situation that I’m in.

Basically my attitude to sex has changed dramatically, to the point where it gives me probably more angst than excitement to think about because of course I feel as though I can’t engage in it properly.

This is having a negative impact on my libido and I’m just wondering, have any of you experienced this and did receiving the implant go a long way to fixing / curing that mindset?

Thank you.
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

Good morning Defiant;
I suffered some form of ED my entire life (after a botched circumcision at 3 years old). There were times that I could get and keep an erection for sex, it was just a good thing that I also suffered with PE. Most of the women said it didn't bother then but it clearly did. When I finally got into a serious relationship, I explained the whole thing to her and we got married 22 July 1989. As time went on our sex life went from bad to worse to non-existent. I knew it was my fault and started to slip into depression. Then I started seeing doctors (bad and great) who fixed me physically but, I couldn't understand why I wasn't interested in banging my wife. My urologist checked my testosterone and 1 reading showed below average and a second showed the very low end of normal. He started me on 2.5ml of Delatestryl every three weeks. Today, I am a changed man. Just as horny as I was when I was 18 and physically able to cash cheques my horny brain cells write. My confidence in the bedroom is Tarzan like. I use to be done in about 3 minutes and now I have gone as long as 35 minutes and that was over because my back injury just wouldn't let me continue anymore. Lot's of guys on here have said that there testosterone level was normal... so was mine but, on the low side of normal and testosterone needles fixed me. I think I noticed the full effects of the drugs after the third injection. I take the needle in the ass cheek (it hurts a lot less there. But I cannot reach around there to do it where the doctor said to inject it so my wife does it. It's a good, practical way to play doctor and nurse. ;)

Thanks for the response, Larry.

I’m quite sure that my lack of hornyness (if that’s a word) is closely related to my plight with what has clearly become an OCD issue around my arousal and lack of morning wood and the fear associated with sex in general now.

I don’t really want to take something when my level is normal, which it was last year but who knows now. I still check out every half decent woman that walks past with desire.

My question is really for those that were suffering a depression and subsequent lack of sex drive due to ED. Did the implant go a long way to increasing said desire and mojo as it were?

Also, I’m concerned about the process once implanted. For ‘normal’ folk, you kiss, you see a hot piece of ass, you lick someone out whatever and get hard then have sex.

But if you have an implant, is the process still the same as it were? Do you still get that desire and need to follow through and fuck. I know that’s a stupid question but in my mind I can see a disconnect where the implant comes in.

I guess my question there is, is the act of sex for an implanted man, largely as it was before, you just gotta pump up?

yes, sex is actually much better than before because I used to have ED. Now I have been cured by surgery. I have no worries about whether I will lose the erection. I can try any position with no worry about "shifting quick or I might lose the hard-on"

I just read a very eloquent description of sex by an implanted male...you should check it out. It is in Merrix journal which is titled "my journal" and the entry is from mon june 4. to jump to that entry quickly, you can try entering the search term = marriage/relation/future
He used those three words with slashes so that will bring you quickly to the post that I am referring to.

And regarding your question on attitude:
Basically my attitude to sex has changed dramatically, to the point where it gives me probably more angst than excitement to think about because of course I feel as though I can’t engage in it properly.

You are describing what every man has felt regarding impotence. Your statement about angst captures the essence of being an impotent male. This angst is something all of us can relate to, and for those lucky ones who had the courage to be implanted, this is something we no longer worry about. Having severe ED was a terrible thing for me and it was seriously messing with my life and feeling of well-being.
With severe ED I was:

depressed (because I was no longer man enough to have sex)
anxious (because I no longer had that emotional and aggression release delivered by sex)
scared to approach women (because I knew I would fail to finish the chase to properly take her)

All of these things have improved completely after my implant
"Strive to find the best surgeon--experience really matters"
(63 yo, Titan 22cm implant Feb 2017 by Dr Eid) I'm super pleased with my length/girth/implant performance. See my story at "The road to becoming a bionic male: Answers ..."

I had all the same things going on as all the rest of the guys on here.
For the last eight years I have been seeing a multitude of women (hookers) I have had the best sex in the world for years. I was implanted May 2 of this year and expecting to go out a couple months later and be banging all these young beautiful women. Well right out of the hospital I met a woman that I have known for 40 years. We started a relationship and now she is the only one I want to play with. As long as I keep my testosterone shots current I feel like I want to fuck all the time. She is more than willing.
I don't know if the implant has anything to do with it but I am much happier now than I have been for years.
77 years old, married 58 years. Had ED for the last 10 years or so.
May 2nd, 2018 Coloplast Titan implanted, 24cm with 1cm RTE's. All went well so far.

Yes sir Jim... the implant doesn't have something to do with it... it has EVERYTHING to do with it. :D ;) :)
