Day and night

Postby Willywalker41 » Fri Aug 17, 2018 12:21 am

Day 7 and all day was happy about feeling better. Cooked, wandered round the house and no pain to speak of.Thought ok I got this. Cooked supper for my wife and son, washed the dishes and enjoyed activity. Bed time come around and notice pain creeping back up and swelling increased
Just a bit. Pain pill and ice and all’s good.someone on this forum warned me bout feeling better and then overdoing it and I might have done that. Read on here bout people going back to work in a week and think to myself there is no way I could work right now. Am I doing poorly or is all this normal.felt like in one day took one step forward and two steps back.

I am 9 days post op and probably caused myself some issues by riding 4 hours home 2hrs after surgery but I could not work if I had a desk job.

I go up and down stairs a few times a day, sit and watch tv, soak in tub, lay in bed naked, that’s about it. I think I am going to start walking around the block tomorrow since walking is not bad. Sitting seems the worst of all positions.

Sitting was the worst for me for about 3 weeks as I recall. Hang in there, sounds like you’re doing well. When the healing is behind you you’re going to love this.

I’m a year out and I still have pain when I pump to the max, which I think is a good thing. I’m continuing to gain size, bey VERY slowly. The rest of the time, there is no pain, and SO much gain in happiness.

I am retired and sit around naked most the time. At 12 weeks post op. I went to Vegas on a trip. Found out I couldn't keep my dick caged up in cloths either up or down. Had to keep rotating the position. Got some silky gym shorts and started free balling it. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

My problem with satin boxers is they feel so erotic on my dick that I have trouble focusing on anything else. ;)

That kind of reminds me of a friend of my brother who says "Ya know, I find that whenever I stop thinking about pussy, my mind starts to wander."

I am one guy here at FT who warns guys not to overdo it when they start feeling better. My doc advised me from day one to get up and walk for about 10-15 minutes, three times a day. That helps your recovery and helps keep up your strength. But after each walk I laid down again and iced. I think I would have been ready for a desk job after three weeks, but was already retired when I had surgery so not sure.

My advice is for you to stay home one day, but simulate going to work by wearing the clothes you would wear to work and doing things comparable to what you would do on the job. My doc told me no lifting for a month so that is something to consider, too if that is part of what you do.
