How long before you could point it down

Postby Hawkman » Wed Aug 15, 2018 2:57 pm

I know everyone is different. Some need no prescription pain meds and some are still using Tylenol with Codine 3 months after surgery but my penis is “erect” even when deflated due to swelling in the cavernosa.

I would like to especially hear from men with Titans and hear how long before deflated actually felt deflated.

Thanks

I only had my Titan for 8 months. It never felt deflated.

I understand that the Titan cylinders do not contract. What I am talking about has nothing to do with that. I am talking about a penis sticking out at 3:00 o’clock and cannot be pushed lower obviously because of inflammation around the cylinders not because of the cylinders.

I’m about 5 weeks out and I’ve found getting deflated is the key. Read some posts on here with different methods and have had some success but I’m still backfilling during the day. I still can’t point it straight down but I can get deflated enough to tuck it down and to the left but it still hurts like I’m pushing on the base. Wearing pants at work sucks for me right now but deflating is the key. That and wearing a super soft toddler sock on my penis so it doesn’t get raw from the running against my jeans through my underwear.

It feels like I’m about 50-60% inflated by lunch and need to deflate a couple times a day.

David, I am NOT backfilling. My cylinders have crumple zones and the areas that are not crumpled can easily be collapsed by pressing on them very gently with a single finger. This is an inflammation 3 o’clock erection that is 8 days old. Dr. eid does not seem concerned but I see no progress. He also tells me NOT to use ice after day 3. Hot soaks only.

It's been discussed before. Here's a thread: http://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9245&hilit=gym
More can be found with a search. I think Merrix may have posted on this too.

I was initially concerned about the stiffness and high pointing angle, but after a few months no longer an issue.

What was a breakthrough for me was a post by Alibaba about deflating to the max by squeezing the perineum: http://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10570&p=88558&hilit=ali#p88558 I get a nice 5:30 hang now.
Of course this won't apply to you until the swelling goes down, but I predict you will be happy with the longterm result.

Thanks for the replies. I just want some idea of what is normal for beginning to see a reduction in inflammation of the penis that causes an erection.

This is the answer I expect most to give him because that is my understanding as well. :)

I am now at 16 days post procedure. Had my two week appt with my Dr. on Monday. I asked him, if I could be deflated a bit, because having wood for 2 weeks was uncomfortable. He said I was deflated, but he'd check me for backfilling. He pushed the release valve and squeeze my package..and low and behold I had some fluid in the tubes....I am now softer and more flexible now...however I have noticed, I do get some backfilling daily, and tonight, I pushed the release valve myself and squeezed my penis back down to fully deflated. It feels MUCH MORE comfortable when fully deflated.

What my Dr told me, is that the tips, both at the front of the penis, and the returns are hard plastic, and do not inflate or deflate..so they will always feel hard. Just the way it is.

Hope that helps

I want everyone to know I appreciate the responses and some of them contain helpful information for later on when my inflammation goes away. I am a little frustrated however because I must have totally failed to explain myself clearly. I understand Titans do not get soft and that rather than contract the harder cylinders fold in places along the length of the shaft. I can tell when I am deflated because I can feel the folded, empty, cylinders. IF I was complaining of a long somewhat stiff penis imprinting in my shorts after deflation, that would be the Titan and shoul just get used to it.

When I completely deflate, including deflating the perinium area and feel the flat crumpled cylinders my dick is standing higher than many implant patients with a full inflation and would be VERY capable of intercourse. Why? Because there is inflammation from surgery in my cavernosa sufficient to probably give me an erection without an implant even being present. My penis is full of body fluid, blood clots, etc that make my penis sufficient for a teenage boy on prom night. I probably should have titled my post “ how long before my penis won’t be inflamed or swelled up inside? Maybe I am the only guy to experience this but Dr. Eid seems to suggest it is common. He just did not give me a timeline on when it would go away. I am not talking about backfilling or stiff Titan cylinders, or not properly deflating. I am talking about a penis that is swelled up hard even when totally properly deflated.
