Size after a month: Does it get better?

Postby SARocker » Tue Aug 14, 2018 1:44 pm

Hey guys. Im the owner of a 21 cms with extenders AMS 700 LGX implant since July 24, 2018. Its been 21 days since my surgery and today i just got my first inflation - deflation by myself. I had an appointment yesterday with my surgeon, but he got sick and I just went along and tried to do it on my own thanks to all of the teachings and info available on the internet. It worked! so now I know that the pump is fully functional. I was "partially" inflated during the first week post-op and my surgeon deflated me on a really painful appointment on his office. I was on that stage until yesterday (deflated), and today I feel a minor pain due to the inflation-deflation I just tried. Im a bit worried about size and I wanted to have a few comments on this to see how was your experience on it. Since I just tried today my first inflation, I'm not sure if I truly went all the way with the pumps and if this is going to be my final size. I got a rock hard erection, no doubt about that, but only 5.1 inches on length, which is a lost of 1.1 inches from my previous size (which was not huge but it was nice, with really nice engorgement on the glands: around 6.2 - 6.6). The extenders help on the tip but still they are smaller than before (way smaller). An enhancement was girth on the body of the penis. :?: Few questions for you:

1. Might be possible that I still have a few more pumps on me? Anyway to know this? As you can imagine, being the few first squeezes, the pump is rock hard and I'm struggling a bit.

2. Have you tried Cialis or any other PDE5 after your surgery and see what happens? i read that it helps with the engorgement and even in some cases fuels up the erections (in my case, I had erections, but I was not able to stick with it much longer)

3. If I measure my deflated penis is about the same size as my inflated penis, but really hard and with a lot more girth, but no changes on length, do you see something similar on your case?

I guess that I'm a bit discourage about this whole thing mainly due to this first "measurement". I'm a healthy young fella, 33 years old, without any issue whatsoever beside this ED that it was driven by venous insufficiency. It was with me for several years, I would say since I was 23-24 and at the beginning, pills worked just fine, awesome actually. Then , by age 28, they started to do less and less, and by my 30's, it was hard to make them work. Never tried injections which still during my venous exam did barely work. This seemed like my only true way of having a stiff with will allow me to maintain sexual intercourse. The thing is that with this size, I truly don't see how I can make this work. Hope you guys can provide some insight on your experience. Thanks a lot for your help and comments!

Just curious, how do you guys measure ? Pressed to the bone or just the none bone pressed erect length ?

To answer your questions - the ams lgx extends over time so you will likely gain more length. I'd say about one inch is right the average.

the engorgement of the glans was not affected by surgery, but i guess you havent been horny during inflation, so you shouldnt have expected glans engorgement.

If all fails, you can still get your superficial vein ligated, which drains blood from the spongiosum and might improve glans engorgement. there s actually a study where simultaneously ligating the superficial vein while implanting led to higher satisfaction rates.

best.

First if you are comparing with your erection before the operation, compare it but with the swollen glans (surely your glans will grow at least 1 cm)

Second: to rule out having been undersized, see if the tips of the cylinders reach well inside the glans, they do it?

Also you are a month in, people here tell you will continue to grow until about 6 months (but not sure about this since I haven't got the implant yet)

I never press against the bone since I don’t see that type of measurement as truthful to what the eye can see, but I guess that’s me.

About the gaining of lenght overtime, those are really good news to me, i did not know that. An inch sounds awesome.

Right about the glands, not horny so I guess that would also change my point of view.

I think that the supercial vein ligation was one of the first “options” that my urologist threw out there, but he mentioned that it really helped a little and the sucess rate was rather low. It might be that for glans engorgement this could help.

Thanks for your reply, i appreciate it!

Right, no swollen glans when I measured after implant. I think that might change a little my perception lenght wise.

And yes, cylinders seem to be well located. They fit inside the glans, not ALL the way up obviously, but just good. No floppy glans.

About keep growing up to 6 months, again, great news, that gives me much more hope and excitement about this while procedure. Thanks for the comments!

Measure it with the swollen glans for a legitimate comparison and tell us about the result. It's not the first time in the forum that I read that the length gets better when it swells

Also how was the situation of your glans before the implant?

The reason Bone Pressed Erect Length (BPEL) and Bone Pressed Stretched Flaccid Length (BPSFL) are used is because they remain consistent with weight gain and loss. A price of weight gain in men is that you lose visible external penis length.

Really good actually, i was kinda proud of it  Nice engorgement, also another reason why it looked bigger, so now that engorgement is a bit gone, looks smaller. Might be that with swollen glands the perception changes, but as far as I’m reading more responses and threads, seems that this is a long road to cover, 6 months to a year to close the chapter lenght wise.

Rocker
Im here to say be patient. I too have the lgx. It takes time but you will see a big improvement after 2-3 months. I been pumping 14 mos and still feel a stretch. Im back to original size of 6 1/4 length and about 5 3/4 girth. I also get slightly more with arousal. It takes patients. Regular cycling til you have discomfort. Do it daily and hold it hard for a while. You will definately see gains. Good luck !
