Implanted 07/31/2018 my journal

Postby flyweed » Tue Jul 31, 2018 8:51 pm

Well today it happened. As of 2pm central time I am bionic. Not much to say right now. I am here overnight. Have the catheter in and a drain bag yet. Will come out tomorrow morning when I go home. So far not much.pain really, other than a dull ache in my penis itself. Can't wait to get home.

Day 2: slept well last night. some aches and pains, but was still able to get 7 hours shut eye. 7am Dr. Came in and pulled out catheter and drain. He did have to deflate me as I was a bit inflated during surgery. That hurt. So now I am deflated. He put bacatracin on the sutures, and I am to continue doing that 2 times a day for a week. I will be discharged in a couple hours.

Glad you are doing well... I am very surprised that you are totally deflated.. they usually leave it partially inflated so the stretching starts and the cylinders smooth out in their new home. Do yourself 2 BIG favours. 1) ice, ice, ice... no more than 20 minutes at a time several times a day. Reduced swelling will rid you of pain. 2) LEAVE IT ALONE until the doctor says you can cycle and then have sex. You could end up with permanent problems if the process is rushed. Some people have done things early and were VERY LUCKY, but you really don't want to be a statistic. Happy healing my friend... Please don't forget to edit your signature. :)

Congrats and hang in there, it does get better! AND LEAVE IT ALONE! I didn't :( and got it inflated to about 70% and couldn't get it back down no matter how "hard" I tried. After three days had to go to urgent care to be deflated. See "I'M pumped" post under "Implants".
Best of luck, and post pictures when you can, Andy

Congrats. I'm glad to hear you reporting on your bionic manhood the same day that you had it done. I'm seeing my DR tomorrow to start the process with an implant date in the Sept/Oct time frame.

Thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes. Today is the start of day 3. I am home now, Picked up a prescription for Oxycodone on the way home yesterday. Needed it every 3 hours over night. As you guys said..ICE IS YOUR FRIEND. Ive been icing for 20 minutes every 2-3 hours and it feels SOOOOO good.

I am a fairly young guy 47, and have a high tolerance for pain, and will say..this procedure is NOT a walk in the park. I do have a feeling that tomorrow will be much better, as swelling is starting to go down now and some of the abdominal pain is subsiding.

Will post more later
