Any pre-op protocol for stretching penis to reduce the possibility of losing length?

Postby QuestionGuy » Sun Jul 29, 2018 3:03 pm

I see people speak of vacuum and traction. Can these perhaps break up some scarring, pre-op, so that I get a better “stretch” and subsequent “sizing” ?

I have peyronies . No curve - just a dense, sharpie-pen-like uniform structure that runs through the length of the penis. It’s been made worse by injecting TRI-MIX. Also, I am a grower (and the ratio is extreme) I can be 1-2 inches flacid some days, or 4 inchs flacid for a couple of days after trimix, but at my "peak erect state", I’m almost 6 inches in length and 6 inches in girth . (Temporarily…and only with the right stimulation) Despite this, I only stretch to 5 inch's , doing the "pull test" on the flaccid penis (which I know is how the measurements are taken to size an implant)

Is there anything that would work to maximize my elasticity and perhaps accommodate a longer length implant? I’m not trying to get longer than what nature gave me. I’m just trying to not have the plaque reduce the capacity. Hope that makes sense.
I'm 55. PostFinasterideSyndrome/Peyronies . Initially had good erections but numbness. Now erections are compromised, but good sensitivity. I see Dr. Irwin Goldstein and do : TRIMIX-Clomiphene-Arimidex –Cabergoline -Cialis -Traction-VED-Pshot-gainswave

My doc likes to have his patients use a VED for about three months before implant surgery. I had used one for 6 yrs after radial prostatectomy and was able to retain my pre-RP size and did not lose any length. Several of his other of his patients, that I know, used the vacuum device and retained their pre-RP size after surgery, also.
I notice that Dr. Eid makes a statement that neither Vacuum device or anything else will not increase the length, but I think he means a man's God given length.

Thanks for the question. It a good one that has been the subject of many threads (too many for me to provide links to all of them, but I assume you have read them, and the Medical Journal papers they reference).

I am posting here to correct what appears to me to be a miunderstanding...or a dangerous miscomception.

The ONLY measurement that truly counts is the measurement taken DURING surgery on the INSIDE of your penis' corpus cavernosum. The "stretch test" only provides, at best, an estimate. Run away from any surgeon that tells you firmly the size implant he will put into you. The surgeon MUST HAVE a full selection of sizes to use in respnse to the measurements he takes after he can measure you properly.

That measurement consists of cutting your penis open (a small incision) and inserting a tool into your pelvic crus, noting the length, then, from the same incision, inserting the measuring tool into your penis as far up into the glans (penis tip) as it will stretch. Then adding the two figures together. That is the length of the implant that will properly fit and give you the same pre-op penile length that you (and your partner(s) enjoyed.

Have you watched any of the videos of the operations that are available on-line? Both Dr. Kramer and Dr. Eid have many and give a pretty good narration of what they are doing.

I used a VED for six months before surgery (that long because I was still searching for a surgeon to entrust my penis to) and I believe I recovered at least 1/2" of length that I had begun to lose due to lack of erections.

I have been using traction for the last five months. I know I have gained length, just don’t exactly know how much. You are right, it will not give you more than what god gave you but, for those with Peyronies, it stretches the plaque so it will make the penis longer.

kosh200, what type of traction device are you using?

I did nothing at all and have ended up 7.5” erect and a bit over 6.5” flaccid.
I was however using Caverject twice a week for about 6 months prior to the procedure....maybe that helped in some way.

Robert m- I use the penimaster pro. There is a bit of a learning curve with it and I suggest you read a couple of my MD studies on it , Dr Levine. Instructions say use it for 3 hours a day, the studies all say 4 or more hours
