Has anyone experienced adverse effects for MOST aspects of your life including social in general from a dick that didn't work? If so, did getting the implant taken care of most of these isseues?

In a word......YES!
Although it doesn’t necessarily make you a better person, confidence and the flow-on happiness associated with better socialisation may make life better.

Frustrations spill over to work, play, and relationships. I've commented and Merrix has in his thread how the implant helped resolve that. You don't even realize the effect it had till you see how your outlook improves. Cheers.

There is a saying, "When sex is good, it is 10% of a relationship. When sex is bad, it is 90% of the relationship."

Having a penis that does not work right CAN pervade your entire self-image. But it does not necessarily. Treating E.D. (impotence) MAY relieve personal problems cause by the condition, but not necessarily will fix every side effect of long-term E.D..

Put another way, a dick that doesn't work may or may not ruin your life. Treating a dick that doesn't work may or may not save your life.

Your circumstances affect you, sure. But it is how you react to your circumstances that determine WHO YOU ARE and whether or not your are happy.

Choosing to treat a dick that doesn't work right, you choose a urologist or surgeon to fix it.

Choosing to treat a life that doesn't work right, you choose a counselor to help you fix it.

Implant is not a panacea, nor necessary for a good life. But it sure as fuck helps most men here.

There is a real reason that one of the euphemisms for penis is "manhood."

I have had cock issues for over 10 years, exacerbated by MS. I have been using pills and injections for nearly 10 years and have given up using them due to poor results. Having a faulty cock seems to have a negative impact on every aspect of life from relationships, work, energy levels and outlook. I'm finally going down the implant route this fall and my confidence and outlook are improving already! Just knowing that I will be able to have sex when the moment presents itself is an amazing confidence booster. In anticipation of my new cock, my workouts are getting more intense which in itself is healthier and my confidence and outlook are elevated too.
