Injection or Implant? Which Feels Better Sexually?

Postby alterr » Thu Jun 21, 2018 6:45 pm

Convenience factor aside, which gives better pleasure during sex? Implant or injection?
ED since 1996. Peyronies in 2012. PRP in 2013 and 2017. Dr. Brock, urology, NC, USA. Cialis and Viagra stopped working since 10/2017. Haven't been on Trimix since 3/2016. Will consider injecting it again. Will be prescribed testosterone injections soon.

I am going to say implant... I found the injection hurt like hell... the shit was cold when it went in and yet burned like hell. I am sure the "injectionables" will disagree. :)

I am only 2 months post implant so jury is still out. Trimix caused pain but I could get a climax fairly easy. Implant experience, sensitivity is low and climax is infrequent. I stopped injections the first time trimix gave me pyronies and a 15 degree bend. ( less. than 30 injections total) Be careful if injections are causing pyronies. It can be irreversible. Then their is no choice.

I am also 2 mos. out. Only used it three time and have not had a climax. (did have a couple from masturbation that was really strong) Not a lot of feeling yet either. Wearing a condom probably doesn't help. Trimix worked great for a couple years then it turned erratic for me. Hard-on for 4 to 6 hours and only used a couple drops. Most times it didn't work at all. Now it's working but the feelings have not all come back. Hoping it will with time. Now I don't have the worry of weather it will get hard or not. I know it will.
Good luck to ya.

Confused here. Do you mean to say that your erections with injections were cold and burned during sex? I dont get it.

Hi oldbeek,

So you dont climax as much with an implant as you did with injections? Has this aspect of an implant improved at all? Has your uro assured you this is temporary or no?

Hi rancherejim,

I'm getting confused responses here. Are you saying you only used your implant just 3 times during 2 months post op?? Why are you injecting with an implant? Could you provide clarity on your reply since I'm not following what youre trying to say.

I was taking the medication out of the fridge and had to inject it immediately so that explains the cold BUT, the medicine itself gave me a burning sensation while it was going in and for a while after it was in there.

Alterr, I would have to say for me anyway, when the injections & VED worked even somewhat, the whole time was very pleasurable not just the finish. My thinking is that with actual blood in the shaft it's closer to natural. I believe that with many of us with ED we take a big hit in the sensitivity department, but maybe it's part aging as well. With the implant the whole time is very good and the finish, fantastic! That's why I feel if any of the other options are working for you, it's not time for an implant. If they aren't working then consider an implant. In other words, the closer to a natural erection, the better. VegasED

Injections have the big advantage that your dick might bend to one side (Peyronie’s). Often hour glass dents develope, another great result of injections. To inject when implanted is highly advisable of course
