Implanted 6/7/18 my journal

Postby jijohnson99 » Thu Jun 07, 2018 9:49 am

Good morning all,

Today is the day. Implant day. I was suppose to have the implant done a few months ago but due to complications I had to reschedule. Well today is the day 13:30 eastern standard time Atlanta,Ga kind of excited and nervous at the same time. Ready to start the healing process and get back to a normal sex life. Will start my journal once I arrive at the hospital.

Best wishes, jijohnson, and congratulations on taking the plunge. Looks like we'll be able to compare notes as we recover. Let me know by PM if you ever want to talk.

You'll probably be a little loopy when you first come out. My first thought was "Did I really do this to myself??? Wow." Feeling fine about it a couple days out, but sore today. We'll get better and it will be wonderful!

8:00pm just got home from surgery wasn’t that bad only a lot of discomfort. No drugs given in hospital because of my breathing issues. Now the hard part healing. I’m about. 50% inflated per the dr and doing well. Surgery took about 3 hours because of scaring tiisue two incisions made slight bleeding. At home now still no pain meds needed at all just weird feeling. Dr was gone when I came out of recovery but wants to see me Monday his assistant was there and explained everything to me didn’t really get it because I was out of it. But finally it’s done and I can get on with my life as anew bionic brother lol.i will add to my journal later tonight or tomorrow with pics.

Yes, best wishes. And laying low is great advice. Stay horizontal more than you think you need to.

Night time is the perfect time to take the most powerful pain meds you have. It will help you sleep, plus, this will be the first night for you. Anesthetic will be totally gone so you really have no idea what the night will bring for pain. Heal well :)
