Yes theoretically. But how long after you reach a certain T level does libido return? How long must one be on it to get to that desired level?

There isnt really a time. Everyone may be different. I imagine it to be a week or two for the clomid to leave your system.
I would suggest trying something like D aspartic acid for a while. As this will raise your test levels over a few weeks. And its fairly mild. You could see if this improves your libido and go from there. Or pt 141 is purely to raise libido and does not effect hormones.

Maybe just because its not a fda proven method. Testosterone replacement is...
As it literally replaces the problem. It would be nicer to get to the bottom of the cause though rather than just replace.

Doctors are sometimes wrong and choose the easy fix. They often prescribe antibiotics and depression medication without really considering the options.

By the way im not saying testosterone replacement isnt for you. Im just giving some other possible options. Try google 'HPTA restart' it used HCG to jump start the testicles to working again.

The root of the problem is permanent damage from a med that was forced upon me 22 years ago. It created an hour glass shape to the base of my penis. But docs today dont have the tech to deal with that.

I want to get an implant. But its crazy expensive and Medicare denied me since I don't meet the age guidelines.

So I'm stuck in life with this medical issue and a girlfriend who's on the brink of leaving me because of it.

What about getting a private insurance long enough to get the implant and then drop it after the implant??

Sorry, no, I can't give you any examples... I am Canadian my insurance is free and it paid for mine. I hear that if you pick a surgeon, they will help with stuff like that... Good luck. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. :(

Implant may be in my future but I'm not sure since it's a big decision. Anyway, I'm 47 now and I want to know I want to know if I'm still too young for it. From what I've read, most implantees are between 60 - 74. What do you think?

Nah, there are younger guys than you that have had them. My feelings are, if it aint working, why wait. I just turned 63, and got mine when I was 62. Just a couple of years prior to me getting the sugery, I could actually achieve a boner naturally, but I fell in love with the needle cause it could make it happen fast. I think that I might have cause the venous leak with the injections. But once it stopped working completely, this was the kicker for me. Go for it, believe me, you won't regret it.
