Greg,
Maybe I did not title right my post.
ED is totaly new to me and came with RP treatment. Before RP I did not have any issues with erections. I was able to achieve and keep my penis erect as long as my wife and I wanted it to be hard. I went into surgery 99.95% potent and came out of surgery and 19 months post surgery 100% impotent. Before surgery I never tried Cialis or Viagra because I did not need them. So, I know, my condition is iatrogenicaly caused by surgeon who removed my prostate. I did whole lot of things to rehabilitate my penis to be functional again but I think I was not lucky enough to make it happen.
As from my signature, I already used all non invasive options and I see implant as need to save my sex life. At 53, I can not say I don’t care about sex anymore. I enjoyed it a lot before prostatectomy and I missed it even more now after RP.
I am kind of worried if Insurance will cover implant. I have Aetna and my Insurance did not cover single pill, VED nor injections (TRIMIX. BIMIX).
For the next 3 months I will be very busy. Plan is to start working on implant some time in September.

MK,
I understood your post. I was just giving my impression of when it is time to get an implant. When you have an ED problem, have done the research on implants, and run out of questions and fears about getting one, you are a great candidate. I hope your insurance will cooperate.

Greg
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
