Well here it is 9 days post op and feeling pretty good. I thought I was dying the first 8 days. The Dr. said I would have a partial erection for the first week but it was a full hard-on and it caused more pain than anything else. The pain medication just made me feel worse so have only had Tylenol after the 2nd day. I went to my post op on the 8th day and he took it down. What a relief. The night before I just could not take it any more and let out some of the fluid myself. Still some tenderness in the incision (scrotal) but other than that doing well. Dr. told me each day would get better and I believe him. Will be going in mid-June for my final check up and the go ahead to try it out. No cycling till then, he wants everything healed completely before I cycle the first time. Amazing how the Doc's do it differently.
Had the Coloplast Titan IPP installed. Dr. said it would work best with me. At this point I'm the exact same size as I was before surgery. Glad for that, he said yesterday that with time it might grow a little. As long as it works I'm happy.
I want to thank all the guys that have posted on this web site, it helped me a lot through the learning process. I will update from time to time as it might be of some help to someone.

It is interesting how the Docs are different.

Some leave you limp so capsule doesn't form around reservoir. Reasoning is that auto inflation is less likely and you have a better flacid appeance.

Others pump you up so capsule dosen't form around cylinders. They feel you will have less shaft pain when first pumping.

It'll be interesting what you experience.

I wonder how many leave you 50%? Then both concerns are met to a degree.

My Doc said before surgery he would send me home half inflated. If that is the case I'm looking forward to a full inflation. For 8 days I felt and looked fully inflated. I know it was hard enough to have sex.
On another note why do we say inflated and deflated? That refers to air. These implants are filled with liquid so doesn't that make them a Hydraulic system?
With all this free time to kill my mind wanders.

I also was inflated hard for 3 weeks. I mean so hard would not bend. On 3rd week I dumped a little fluid just to where it could bend but still hard enough for sex. Yesterday I saw the doc and he deflated it. Still chubby. Those 4 weeks, it was so hard and painful, I am going to give it 2 days off before I start cycling. I assume that I am stretched already so cycling should not be to painful. At least I hope so.

OK Jim, I inflated today. Was deflated at doc office 2 days ago. The doc had me 100% inflated the last 4 weeks. No wonder it hurt. I told him it would not even bend at week 2. He said, Want it to stretch. Some docs send you home deflated and tell you to start cycling at 4 days out. Mine said keep it pointed up and I will see you in 4 weeks. Feels sooooo much better now.
