Getting my implant

My surgery is scheduled for June 29. I'm really looking forward to finally doing this. My urologist and I decided on the AMS Ambicor two-piece implant after a couple months of thought. I'm a little bit anxious but who wouldn't be. Onward and upward!

Greg,
Best wishes to you. I look forward to hearing about your experience and recovery. I hope you will enjoy your bionic dick as much as I enjoy mine. Take care. June will be here before you know it.

Greg

Quick question why are you receiving a 2 piece instead of the 3 piece?

I have the same question

I have to ask why a 2 piece also. Dr. Bullock in St. Louis (worst doctor experience ever and seconded by others) would only install a 2 piece. Doctors I saw afterward said almost nobody uses a 2 piece any more for many reasons but if no other, that it does not give an adequate erection because the reservoir is too small to hold enough fluid. Reservoir and pump are together in the scrotum for those who do not know.

Unless there is a medical reason, never install a two piece. Unless it's medical, your dealing with a lazy Surgeon. If he can't give you a medical reason not to install a standard 3 piece unit. Find a reputable surgeon.
Donnie, a concerned brother.

I agree with Donnie who eats 5 steaks every day to feed his growing dick. Something is bad wrong with a doc that wants to put in a 2 piece unless you have a very short list of serious crap going on. The list of drawbacks in comparison is long.

Wow that is quite a bit of length loss. How long did your ED go untreated?
