I’m sorry about your troubles, God knows I know what you’re feeling.
You are young, yes but all things being considered, if the first and second-line therapies aren’t working well and/or reliably, tell yourself ‘what other choice do I have?!’. This simple logic should do at least a little to make you feel better about the prospect of an implant.
All the fears that you’ve brought up are fears I have too, should I ever choose to get an implant. But let’s break it down. Most of the men in here who report going to a good surgeon say that the size loss is minimal. And with the numbers you’ve quoted, I wouldn’t worry too much about size loss. Worry more about functionality and restoring that.
With the fear of intimacy, I understand that also, of course. But if you don’t want it to be detected, pump up beforehand in the bathroom and just focus on pleasing her and enjoying yourself. You could say you don’t like your balls being touched or simply say, I had a surgical procedure on my testicles but everything is absolutely fine now, don’t worry! Then proceed to rock her world. Having a pump inside your balls, I don’t know many 20 yos that will know what the hell that is and plus, even women at this age are more caring and understanding than you’d think.
Ultimately, an implant, if done correctly will assure you solid erections for hopefully 10-15 years at which point you’ll have to book in for your replacement.
Going forward into your 30s, honestly man, women are mostly very understanding and caring. As long as you can fuck them, they won’t mind at all!!! see multiple posts by people who have told their gfs or wives. See DustyKnox’s posts for a young man’s perspective.
A good woman will love you, for you. End of. And, I can bet she will fucking love your implant and the things it enables you to do.
Fear is natural at this stage, dude. But if it’s not really working at all even with pills and injections, what’s the alternative?
Well said.
