The major reason is that I live with a woman who does not care about sex. She is a good looking woman but has never been interested in sex or erotic movies etc.

The other reason is that in my country or neighbour countries implant is a minor thing. There are only couple of surgeons who install 0-5 implants in a year.

this is more common than what it is thought. Many womans are not that into sex as man. Especially after 40-50 yo.

Out of curiosity what is your country ?

I live in one of the Nordic countries. Northern Europe. Nearest experienced implant surgeons are in Germany. Not very far but my motivation for the effort is very low. The lady of the house is not interested.

You have 2 experienced high volume implant surgeons in Belgium. Dr. Rentherghem in Hasselt and Dr. Andrianne in Liège. None experienced surgeons in The Netherlands.

Reading these posts from Nordic countries , I have one statement. If it wasn't for capitalism in the USA where we DON'T have state paid medical, inventions like the penile prosthesis would not exist. Profit creates incentive to find a better way. Medicine costs more in the USA because we invent it, we test it, we get it approved and then everyone else reaps the benefit.

Public health care does not usually cover implant. In rare cases where the patient is very young and has some serious disease it might cover it.
