Advice: Practice Patience With Trimix Before Moving On To Implants

Postby Cigar56 » Thu Apr 12, 2018 6:49 pm

I was once frustrated with the learning curve of Trimix and started considering an implant. Boy, am I glad I waited. After more than a year I have finally gotten Trimix and injections dialed in. The result is the absolute best sex of my life. Not bad given that I am 61.

I used to be intimidated by beautiful women because of my ED struggles. Now, if I was single and had a shot at Beyonce or one of the Kardashians I would wear them out. At age 61.

My journey:

-- For the first time in my life I am having multiple orgasms. Before injections I was one and done.
-- I can stay hard for two hours, easy. Before injections I was done after ejaculating in the first 15-20 minutes.
-- My erections are so beautiful that I once thought about taking a picture. With Trimix and injections I am achieving porn star quality erections with a huge head and incredible girth overall.
-- If I was single I could fully satisfy two, or even three women in one session. That's the stuff of implants without the very invasive surgery.
-- I don't have the headaches and other side effects I had with pills, which is why I stopped using Viagra, etc.
-- I have never had any adverse reaction from Trimix.
-- I have injected up to three times a day on special occasions, such as a vacation, with no ill effects. (Note: This obviously is not recommended.)
-- I have never had a case of priapism (painful prolonged erection) while using Trimix, even during my vacation binges.
-- I have learned to adjust my dosage to control how long I'll remain erect. I can inject a certain number of units for say, a 15-minute quicky, a 30-minute full session, a 60-minute marathon, or two hours on a Saturday night if I am going to start with the wife and then finish up with some "video" and my Fleshlight (male masturbation toy) in my office at home.
-- I've learned to quickly realize when I have "missed" on an injection and how long to wait before injecting in another spot.
-- I've learned how to inject on both sides and moving the needle around to different spots to prevent scarring.
-- I can tell when the needle is in the wrong spot and then remove it and move it to another position for a perfect injection.
-- I hung in there through all the mishaps. Once I used a needle that was too long and punctured my urthea, causing my penis to look like it was on its period. Nonetheless:
-- I conquered my phobia about needles!
-- From start to finish I can inject in less than two minutes and I am fully erect at about the six-minute mark. If I was single and with a new date I'd just excuse myself to freshen up a bit and then return fully hard in less than 10 minutes.
-- I learned to perfect my injection technique by practicing several times a week. The wife has a very, very low sex drive but I didn't let that stop me. I started injecting for practice -- while keeping detailed notes -- 3-5 times a week in my home office.

I am so happy I exercised enough patience to get through a full year of trial and error. It turns out I had a rookie urologist -- at least on Trimix -- but I hung in there (no pun intended) with her. Yes, the uro was a she. Together we figured it all out over the course of four different prescriptions until we hit the jackpot.

The day may well come when I need an implant. I'm just so glad I didn't allow early frustration to rush me into that before I really needed to.

I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Cigar, they should make your post required reading for all the guys who check in here discouraged after their first trimix injection. Making it work requires both a measure of skill and some analytical thinking.

Very inspiring post.
It took me several months to get my injections right, but had a lot of fun on the way and now it’s amazing. My Trimix 40/30/2 has been over a year old and still perfect at 5 units, which is only a drop. I got over 200 injections out of a $200 10ml vial, which is less than $1 a shot. God bless medicine.
I’m only 53 years old with a very active dating life. I’m sure implants are in my future, but I won’t consider it until the injection stops working.
It’s not my place to criticize anyone, but I always cringe when guys in their 20’s and 30’s go for the implant before at least trying the injection. The insane cost, serious surgery and recovery is too early in my opinion. And if you are twenty something you may have to replace that implant 2-3 times in your life time. Just my personal opinion.
I feel very blessed that injections work for me as long as it does.

All the best!

Cigar... Im happy for you and all the other guys who can get that porn star action invincible erections again. I'm a Trimix rookie but loving it. Took Viagra and Cialis for years but never had solid "Towel Rod" erections like this(YES... you could hang some towels on it). Was able to have real intimant sex with the wife for hours in any kind of position we could dream up. My new urologist prescribed Trimix alprostadil/papaverine/phentolamine 40mcg/30mg/1mg... 10ml... 0.1 dose. I had never heard of it before meeting my new urologist and I can't believe it. IMHO Trimix should be as well known as Viagra. My initial dose he gave me in his office gave me a 5 hour 18 year old's erection and I took 4 30mg Sudafeds after 3 and a half hours with a cold shower and a bag of ice on it afterwards. Wife injected me with .06 second time around and. I was good for 3 hours. I think I'll be good with .05 dosages? Cost me $125 for the 10ml of Trimix and if my math is right that would be 100 .05 doses? That doesn't seem possible. I got 5 small vials from the pharmacy. I'll have to check to ensure each one is 2ml??? If you are suffering from ED you have to try it! It can definitely give you the WOW factor. AMAZING!
Age 47. Married in 2005. Tampa Bay Florida USA. Got ED 24 years ago from being paralyzed. Made a 90% recovery. See profile for more info...

Good morning Cigar... can you please tell me why you are so adamantly opposed to implants? :)

I worked with my uro for nearly a year trying to find a mix/dose that would work and had zero response to any of them.

It doesn’t seem he is opposed to implants, just letting guys know that injectables can work for some guys and that it may take awhile to do so...so give it some time and adjustments as needed. Good news all around, if it works-great, if not implants are another option!
