I'll certainly wish you luck and pray you and your doctor find a satisfactory solution. I use injections and have had good success with them for several years.

Thanks bldoink for the kind words and encouragement. Thanks to pabowhunter, I have a good idea of what's ahead of me as far as testing, etc. and what he encountered when he first started injections.

If you don't mind me asking, what size needle do you use and what is the length?
Have you had pain after you inject and do you loose your erection after you ejaculate?

Disclaimer: I'm not any kind of medical professional and I don't know shit. Consult with your doctor and follow his/her advice.

I use a 5/16 long needle. With that in mind you should note that when I inject I have the full length of the needle inserted and the plastic nub of the syringe is making a substantial depression in my dick.

I use a 31g needle when possible as it goes in easier and causes less pain. I read on the Defy Medical site that they recommend against using less than 30g to avoid bending the needle. I also know that when I used Edex it came with a 32g needle. I've never had any needle bending issues with any gauge needle but some have reported having an issue with that. Hows that for giving a blurry answer?

My current favorite is the 31 gauge .3ml syringe with a needle length of 5/16 or 8mm. The smaller the capacity of the syringe volume the easier it is to depress the plunger. Plus you generally get more precise and finer graduation marking on it.

I obviously don't experience the pain issues some do. I initially had more pain but that has subsided with continued use. I have also had some pain when I've used too much juice. Recently I got a new batch that was obviously stronger than what I'd recently been using due to inconsistencies at the pharmacy or more likely the age of the older mix. Anyhow, as a result I had some pain that was distracting. I adjusted my dosage and that resolved the problem. I've also developed a practice of injecting very slowly. It is my layman non-professional belief that this slow injecting allows the juice to disperse more gently through the tissues resulting is less pain. I think massaging it in probably helps here too.

Post orgasm erection (ejaculate isn't going to happen) is dependent on dose of meds. However, unlike past natural erections that quickly died post ejaculation, now, even with lower med doses, my post orgasm erection will diminish and slowly fade rather than just suddenly die off. With more meds I can actually revive and go for seconds. There is that window of med volume where you can maintain the erection and go for seconds before you have med induced pain or risk of a priapism. Keep that Pseudoephedrine handy and enjoy your journey of experimentation. Your experiences will be your own and may vary substantially.

Remember to consult with your doctor and follow his/her advice. What I post should, at best, be material for questions to bounce off the Doc.

Thanks bldoink for the invaluable information, appreciate it much!! Everyone has been so helpful with questions I have had. This is all new to me & I appreciate all the help from you guys that have had experience with injections. :) Nothing like being able to talk to someone who has been down the path you are considering.
