I had a Cadillac prescription plan that paid for EDEX which is very expensive and no longer have. Could anyone tell me how EDEX all in one compares to Trimix which I might try ?

I can't directly answer your question.
Like you I was on Edex (20). My insurance company, which originally covered it poorly, quit covering it altogether. My solution was to find a compounding pharmacy that does what they call mono-mix which is simply alprostadil and sterile saline, which approximates the Edex. I pay $120 for 10ml of a 80mcg per ml mix in ten 1ml vials with 20 syringes included, 30 if you ask. That is 4 X as strong as my Edex was but seems even stronger. I'm currently using 15 units of this mix. They do tri-mix at the same cost. I believe they ship for $15 but I'm about 30 miles away so I just find another excuse to go to W. Palm.
I don't know where you are located but I use Coastal Compounding Pharmacy http://www.coastalcompoundingpharmacy.com/ in West Palm Beach. However, they don't ship sterile solutions outside of Florida.
I understand many compounding pharmacies that do tri-mix won't do mono-mix.

Thanks for the post. I live in Orlando and called Coastal, in West Palm Beach, today about Trimix. They quoted me $120 for ten 1ml vials. That's a good price. One local pharmacy in Orlando wants more than twice that for a 10ml vial!
My only very tiny concern about Coastal is the tiny 1ml vials. I'm fine with them in the fridge/freezer at home, but worry about traveling with them by air. I use the Frio, which does a great job of keeping my juice cold while traveling. However, they are designed for 10 ML vials. I guess I could just stuff the 1ml vials into the compartment and it would all be the same. Anyway, have you traveled by air with the 1m vials? What did you do to keep them cold?
Are you still satisfied with the drug quality and service from Coastal?

Yes, I'm very satisfied with Coastal.
No I haven't flown with the vials.
They give the juice to you in a silver bubble wrap type bag with a small re-freezable blue ice type pouch inside with the vial. I find that works for reasonable trips but if in my truck on longer trips I'll also have that in a cooler with a couple of larger Physical therapy therapeutic type blue ice packs on top of the other pack (along with drinks and munchies). I immediately put the juice and ice packs into the hotel freezer when I get to the hotel. I followed that routine on a two week trip to Tennessee and it survived very well. The only real variable is the lack of consistency among hotel room fridges.
I very much like that they give the juice to you in the ten 1ml vials. I freeze my vials and thaw for each use. With the ten 1ml vials I only have to subject one 1ml bottle at a time to the freeze thaw cycle.
They will come with 9 vials in one pill bottle and 1 vial in a smaller pill bottle. Both bottles will have prescription labels on them so both are legal containers. You can fit two of the 1ml vials in the smaller bottle if you want. I haven't been on a trip where I needed more than two vials. They told me that they know you won't get every drop out of the vials so they put just a smidge extra in to compensate. I'll have to take their word for that.
I wouldn't have any idea on fitment in the Frio.

Just how cold does the Frio keep stuff? I previously looked at their site and IIRC it would keep at 80F if the actual air temp was 100F. That doesn't seem like enough cold. Alprostadil likes cold. Which Frio do you have?

If I start buying juice from Coastal I will probably move up to the next larger size. I have not had problems with freezing-unfreezing. I have Trimix that is more than a year old. As I have moved up to stronger prescriptions several times I have kept the old stuff. Even after a nearly a year of being in the freezer some of it still works as it did when I first purchased it.
The out-of-date regulations in Florida are strict. Trimix is labeled as out of date after just 45 days. What people don't realize is that it will last much longer than that, especially if frozen.
I think Coastal is protecting itself by emphasizing the expiration dates along with the mini vials. But I am OK with that. Would rather have it in one 10ml vial though.
As for the Frio, I am not sure exactly what temperature setting it achieves. It was made to standards for keeping insulin at an acceptable standard. But that standard is fairly high when we think of it as being "cold." The standard is 59-77 degrees, from what I have read. That said, the Trio has never let me down.
For my travel by air, I sometimes just toss the vials into a 16oz thermos and cover them with ice. That passes through airport security just fine and I able to easily refill the ice on the plane (from the flight attendants) or in the airport. So the mini vials actually won't be a problem for me.
